Calm down Investor Steve. You do it your way and others their way. No need for all this agro at all.
To early for possibility of any T/O approaches. The DHSC dispute and lack of transparency plus miserly info together with new developments of rival products and government policy will dampen the enthusiasm that once prevailed in the initial pandemic period. Momentum now lost. Still excellent product but other products possibly being marketed aggressively.
"Dramitically improve " ? And how if i may ask. The situation is what it is. Value reflects current situation.
Its game over for Novacyt. Price will simply languish for at least 6 months. No certainty on conclusion of DHSC. In the meantime other rival products will be on market resulting in a dwindling market share. Talk of T/O is wishful thinking in the present circumstances. Too complicated for a would be buyer.
"Actually doing well " Are you living in cuckoo land.? SP been losing 3/4% a day and yes we are doing well.!!!!Said this before. There is presently NO catalyst to make NCYT attractive to investors. No clarity on dispute no indication on the company's strategic growth plan just an occasional cryptic RNS which makes matter worse. The SP is reflective of the cash in bank and nothing else. The question is why is the market no reflecting and giving value to anything else. Simple answer because NCYT is directionless and not transparent so market does not give any other value to vague words and promises.
On what basis or catalyst will it bounce, if i may ask ? The SP is more or less what it should be. The company has lost momentum and the distinct advantage of being first off the block. Sellers at much higher levels were ridiculed and laughed at. Wonder who is laughing now. Occasional chatter of a T/O is simply wishful thinking at the moment. Better opportunities of undervalued growth situations in the main market. The market is giving a clear message with the price falling 4/5% daily.
SP is running out of steam and in my opinion will fluctuate between 5 and 7p. The anticipation of the trail results will inevitably bring a speculative rise and a positive confirmation will trigger a substantial appreciation. However successful trials are in no way a certainty and this aspect has to be borne in mind by investors. HNWI are in here to make money but being HNWI they can also "afford" to lose money as well. My average SP is 2p so i am still comfortably up and believe in the science so an LTH. To my mind talk of a T/O is premature at this stage. Happy to hold and accepting the risks attached to the investment.
Agree with your assessment potnak
Come on Unite. Just keep feet on the ground. Many hurdles to overcome yet. Great prospects true but please don't just fire SP targets without solid and realistic assessments. We are on right track but still capitalised as a minnow. Only successful clinical trials will put company in a different league. Promising prospects but not a certainty. Happy to be holding SAR with eyes wide open and accepting the risks.
Could be Warthog but rather not go into that aspect as it will end up in a dead end. Rather acknowledge the risks but keep faith in the science. You cannot hurry matters up .Good to keep a balanced view though and discussion healthily open.
What is logical for you and me is not necessarily logical for Governments. There are other considerations including those political which sway decisions one way or another.
The price is simply reflecting and assessing the time horizon announced. Still a good jump up from some months back. Now that the froth has been shaken off enters a period of consolidation in anticipation of the next bit of news which will not be forthcoming any time soon. Patience in my view will be rewarded but the sector and Aim is what they are and volatility is the order of the day. For LTH's this does not change their position so long as their belief in the science remains intact.
You hit the nail on the head. Patience and belief in science. With clinical trials next year the SP will move sideways with a lower bias. Risks and hopes will always accompany when trials commence. In the intervening period a lot of circumstances may change the perspective. I do not feel that a T/O can happen at this stage. Clinical trial results can go either way and that's the risk. We have seen it all before happening in the sector. I am willing to take that risk with eyes wide open.
Totally agree with you. Unsubstantiated SP predictions do no good. One bit of positive news and the rampers come out by the dozen. If you believe in the company, as i do, and you are a LTH just let developments happen . Eventually value will come out but its never a straight line up. There are still hurdles to overcome but confident that future is good. If we get the DHSC dispute out of the way that will go some way for company to move forward at a faster rate.
Oh cmon Crab. Take it easy. You don't call this a jump and about to blow. !!! Need much much more than this. Patience needed for believers like myself.
I would not place too much importance on the meeting and would not expect any announcement that would be a game changer. A lot of patience is needed for plans to come to fruition. Talk of any T/O is in my opinion pre mature. Lots of unknown and variables at the moment and the distinct advantage of being the first off the blocks has long been lost. Pity that plans were derailed by the DHSC dispute but maybe in the long term it could prove a blessing in disguise as efforts to sell to other countries intensify. I expect the new GM to be a bit more transparent and shareholder friendly and highlight the company's growth plans going forward.
To me its obvious that the market knows something that we don't know. Weakness now not due to MM manipulation. No news is not good news in this case and causes investors distrust and uneasiness. Would expect the new GM to come out with a clear footpath for future growth.
You are right Potnak
The fools at MOTLEY FOOL admitted that they cannot give an opinion on SAR as they do not understand the science behind the compound. At the same time stating that they will not buy. Utterly useless review.
Is it possible that the downward movement in the SP is suggesting the possibility of a rights issue?
