Thank you working... A more realistic and down to earth assessment.
Unite can you please keep your feet on the ground and be realistic. Throwing figures without ant back up makes you an irresponsible ramper.
That's why it a market. investors have diverse views and strategies.
I also have my doubts on whether the AGILE route would be the best way forward. It may put SAR in handcuffs.
Agreed Mafuta
seems to me that there is a tendency on the BB to take things for granted. No doubt prospects are exciting and the science very compelling but just one disappointment in the clinical trials will change the whole scenario. Talk of a T/O is in my view premature . So investors here should not go overboard but appreciate that there are still uncertainties.
Agree with your line of reasoning Krusty.
Game over
Hot Black. Perfectly described.
Point taken Ahfam. I have only been in since last October and topped up in January of this year and have an average price of 2p. You obviously have more experience in this share.
Guys keep feet firmly on the ground. Situation looks very promising but SP targets being mentioned are at this point unrealistic. I will be very happy with a nice gradual rise with phases of consolidation as the news flow is digested. Takeover talk is also premature in my opinion.
Keep your feet firmly on the ground. Unsubstantiated wild share price predictions do more harm than good. Moving in right direction but still a very long way to go.
Porky the current SP is discounting the fact that the DHSC contract is a goner and a write off. Too much depended on this contract . Now company has to convince on different revenue streams being sustainable. Still a great company but lost the advantage of being the first off the blocks. Now depends on roll out success on its pipeline. I do not see a short term catalyst which would justify a hefty price rise.
Porky i admire your confidence. The market though is not confident of a sustainable stream of revenues going forward.
You hit the nail on the head. Its the permanent revenue streams that the market needs to be convinced about. At the moment there is doubt and SP reflecting this. Another " cautious" outlook statement by the GM will hurt the SP.
Agree with you JRDC. A lot of aspects taken for granted. And what if the results are below market expectations ? Talk about Novacyt being the "gold standard" is futile if not backed up by hard facts not wishful thinking. The last RNS provided temporary relief but was short lived and once again investors sucked up to the hike in price. With Government contract a goner there is no clear visibility for the level of future earnings. The SP is reflecting this. See this as a promising long term situation and nothing else.
Neilrich Would be interesting to see how you have come to a "well north GBP 15 " valuation.
Said this before. The market is not interested in the present sales figures but more the medium/long term outlook. There is no clarity as to the sustainability of earnings. Market will be assessing what the GM has to say. He has to be more specific and convincing. No doubt about the quality of the product but there are many players and the distinct advantage of being first in the market has now been lost. All this conspiracy talk about MM manipulation seems to me a bit overdone. Vague talk after results will certainly not help the SP at all.
Please keep your feet firmly on the ground.Mister E Trayda. Lets see the figures first and hopefully the SP will react. Problem is that market is looking beyond and to the sustainability of earnings.Market is not yet convinced. As to the shorters eventually they will die out. Value when sustained will win the day.
good observation levin
