Agree with what you state but the fact remains that we are not in the govt's good books. Burnt our bridges and we will not be favoured. What makes an excellent company besides the product is an able management. Talk about being gold standard is futile unless you have signed contracts. A bird in hand is worth two in the bushes. Seems there is serious doubt about the bird in hand also.

The company cannot rely on the UK market for growth in revenues. The rest of the world is a better place to do business and the lack of info on progress on this front is causing uneasiness to say the least. A lot of assumptions but no tangible proof that company is selling to the extent that shareholders expect. The market is always right at the end and the weakness in price is very indicative that something is wrong. Hopefully its not the product because IF it is then all the talk of Gold Standard will go down the drain and the SP with it. Where is the proof that Novacyt penetrating the markets that matter. Till now all talk and wishful thinking. The market is telling us that there is no clarity on the results and this only can explain the weakness in the SP.

A lot been said about possible contracts. All good except that this time round the profit margins will be significantly lower.
Other markets especially the US -Brazil-India become more important for company's revenue stream and profitability. Do not expect the GM to suddenly give details especially as i suspect that shareholders expectations of massive contracts are not realistic.

No company will touch Novacyt with litigation problems. Talk of a takeover is premature.

Once more you should not take it for granted the NCYT will have the only PCR test that can detect variants. Company had the advantage of being the first out with tests. To my mind that distinct advantage will be less relevant as more diagnostic tests come to the market and political decisions taken as to which test is to be used. NCYT does not have the political allies as other companies and its tests are expensive. Inevitably the company will have to lower prices resulting in much reduced margins and obviously less profit. Presently the price is reflecting all this and frankly i feel that its a fair price.

The vacancies advertised mean absolutely NOTHING. There is no evidence that the company has the vacancies and mislead investors to thinking and coming to erroneous conclusions. More of a PR exercise.

Time and time again i voiced my opinion to stick to facts. Nova has no major order and no transparency at all about its supposedly world wide distribution. Considered as the "gold standard" in diagnostic Covid 19 standards but really is it? Seems that the product is expensive and the Govt going for cheaper alternative options. Nova has no monopoly nor do they have a sizeable share of the market. Do not expect any fireworks when results are out. Talk about takeover bid is wishful thinking for the time being. to me this is a long term holding and with investor interest waning destined to move sideways for quite some time. Still up on my initial price of Eur 1.91 but feeling a silly fool of not top slicing at 10 or 12. Had two chances and did not take them. My mistake and i pay for it. Share price is simply reflecting true value now.

Novacyt is priced on facts not wishful thinking. Clearly a long term hold. Take over speculation only on this board. Market not buying it and price is reflecting lack of investor confidence.

To me what is clear in my mind is to stick to facts. The DHS contract was taken as a sure thing. It was not. Now its the expectation that Novacyt is selling worldwide yet the breakdown of those sales is hardly transparent. Too high and unreasonable expectations always bring about disappointment. Nova is a great company but i would rather think long term and avoid unnecessary frustrations.

Management and market knew before of this outcome which explains the lack lustre price movement these last months. RIP

Carlswinning. Agree with your factual "outburst". I keep repeating that the SP is a fair reflection of the company's worth based on official figures and last info received. The SP will simply drift in a narrow range until some new catalyst justifies a price movement.

The term COVID stocks is misleading. All different from each other in what they offer. Would not touch them with a barge pole. See recent overnight fall in GDR. Prefer staying in Novacyt and see it grow. But hoping for an RNS every week is unrealistic and simply adds to frustration.

There will be no RNS. The SP fairly reflects the current worth . Wait for results and that is where the SP will move. Do not expect any fireworks. This is a medium/long term situation.
