Covid opp... would have been better if you sold the whole lot. If anything buy back at a much cheaper price if the company would still exist in its present format.

PI100.. can take different forms with the most popular being a simple ************** where shareholders get shares in the merged company. There is rarely a premium in this sort of exchange so the bottom line is a raw deal to shareholders. Even in the eventuality of a T/O at this stage the price paid will leave the majority of shareholders licking their wounds.

Wish i was wrong too PI100. But the writing is on the wall. This company is going nowhere and we will witness a very painful demise. Better to distribute the cash to shareholders now and call it a day.!! What i think will happen is some sort of merge with another diagnostic company with an exchange of shares and that will complete the " screw" for shareholders. Seen this happen in the mining sector.

PI100.....what else can the company say except they have "strong" grounds for a positive DHSC outcome. The valuation , in the present circumstances, reflects exactly what the market assessment of the company's prospects is. SP will keep on deteriorating until some sort of "breakthrough" emerges which frankly i cannot see coming. No institutional or retail interest.No clear plans what to do with the cash., Only decisive move made was to increase salaries. How's that for priority !!

BYP nothing to understand except there is a Bank balance which the BOD & Co will unscrupulously dip into. The BOD have a carte blanche.

At this stage the outlook is even gloomier and a 50p SP is very possible. My view is that the company will be merged / taken out at a pittance and that will be the end of the story. Would not be to eager " to go in Big" if the price falls under a quid. In my view the possibility of this happening is real. What is disconcerting is in my view the lack of visibility in earnings and the apparent inaction by the BOD to give the market a clear and definite pathway of where the future revenue streams will come from. Being first of the block and new products are fine but what the company needs are consistent definite contracts which have been lacking for quite a while now. BOD certainly not shareholder friendly. They still have to justify their increased pay packet with definite action and results.

No rinse out Valju. Just a market reassessmen of Novacyt which amply shows the conviction that there are no tangible and reliable revenue streams. The DHSC issue seems will be a drawn out affair and absolutely no guarantee that the case will be settled in company's favour. The company in my view is struggling to gain market share and therefore no incentive whatsoever to investors. The Bank balance is no consolation and will steadily dwindle down in R & D costs. From time to time the BOD will dangle some carrots which gullible investors will swallow. The latest pay increase resolutions add to disappointment and frustrations of shareholders. SP steadily back to the penny share status.

HarChris, very simple answer. David has proved to be a devious and incapable CEO. His ONLY achievement is the rise in his pay packet as a reward for destroying share holder value. Absolutely no vision just a lot of vague chatter to camouflage the real outlook. Naive investors think he is capable of pulling the rabbit out of the hat. Hope springs eternal.to those who live in denial. At this rate would be no surprise to see SP under a quid very soon.

Agreed PI100. One can never say " they cannot". Many other instances where companies simply dwindled down their cash pile into nothing. The outcome of the pending DHSC issue will seal company's fate. The DHSC is in no hurry to settle issue and a delayed judgement, in my view, is in their favor and puts pressure on Novacyt. All hoping for a reasonable positive outcome but nothing guaranteed and market is mauling the SP on this lingering uncertainty.

BYP some investors living in denial. Mullis and Dyer simply pilfered the kitty , conveniently playing down the DHSC claim and giving unrealistic forward guidance to justify their bonuses leaving genuine investors holding the baby. Shameful.

ValJu : Why not because of sheer incompetence. Nova had the advantage of being first of the block and failed to keep up the momentum. Adverts galore for new recruits but in my view all eye wash to give the impression that the company had plans for world wide sales. The monkey pox first off the block announcement another diversion with insignificant bottom line benefits.

PI100 your outburst more than justified. Misleading statements is equivalent to misrepresentation . Downright cheats. And the cheek to ask for a remuneration rise after destroying shareholder value. The recent RNS about Monkey Pox another bait which investors fell for. Shameful.
