Thanks Arsenal for pointing that out. I should base my investments on people's opinions on a bulletin board rather than investigating facts for myself. So that's where I am going wrong.

That was why I was asking about a map of the new site boundaries the other day. There is a website that shows the Natura 2000 areas - I believe part of the original site was within that zone, but not sure what has been amended. There are also many instances where the protected status is ignored as <i> 'control over the sites is delegated to the member states that host them, and maintenance, funding and legal regulations change from country to country. As a result, the protection they offer falls to the whims of party politics and fluctuations in the economy.' </i> I have not seen the verdicts from previous cases to see whether this matter was previously ruled on, but will keep digging.

Is there anywhere that shows the actual development boundaries? I have found one from the original plan, but nothing on the one approved by the PD and planning department.

Difficult to answer that one Brad. There is no physical event that made made the share jump a few weeks ago. What has happened recently that MAY explain it is that Bob Foster is no longer CEO, but remains as a consultant. The new guy (as of 1st September) is Marcus Engelbrecht who seems to be well thought of - his background is more finance based that exploration and geology. He has been in the mining business for over 25 years. He has not made any public statements (that I am aware of) in that time, but on 3rd November will be making a presentation at the Proactive Investor Forum. I believe people will be wanting to know what he thinks of the company, its assets and where we go next. We are now producing gold from Altintepe, but still have no idea how much money we are getting for our share - and I believe ThaniStratex have started mining in Djibouti. Of course we know virtually nothing about what is happening with ThaniStratex - hopefully that will change. I guess you can put it down to sentiment, some people looking to take advantage of news (or the potential for news) or hoping that the company is about to gain a direction.

I doubt it. I took it to mean they could purchase at the lower of 3.72p or 80% of a 5 day average before a notified date. The original agreement was 90% of a 5 day average. Not sure why that has changed.

I think people will be expecting a proper update on the 3rd. If not news on Altintepe, then an actual strategy to move the company forward.

So what are the odds of a verdict from the Supreme Court coming next month? They did say they were looking at this as a priority. We have the finances sorted for the short term so hopefully if we can proceed, it will be a good new year with plenty of news of how this project is to be moved forward.

We should be heaing some news about Thani Stratex soon. I'm sure I read that mining was about to start in Djoubati - in September. An interview and update from the CEO would be welcome. We don't have timescales on anything right now (unless I've missed a presentation) and hopefully his review of our assets will allow us to see what value is in the company.

Cup and handle seem almost complete. With the BOD now able to do whatever they want, where does this go? Do we take the $4M - are they negotiating options that allow them to buy back part or all after x years? We need money; no bones about it. Getting the money at all or any cost - glad I'm not making those decisions. With $7.25M owed to Redstone and the Puno case still to complete there is plenty of downside. If we reduce the water level by 2m per month (less that the 6 month average), then we'll hit around 185m by the end of 2017. Depending on what the company does with the $4M we should still have enough to restart mining, but only just. We still don't know how much we are getting for processing the ore for Nikkel Mining. We need a number of things to go our way but it looks like a workable solution is there.

Do we have any idea about the shape of the Central Basin? A bit of a longshot, but if we knew this then we would have a better idea of how long the dewatering process would take at various volumes.

Not sure we'll get a verdict on the same day the case is heard. We can always hope...

Still not alot of shares being traded right now. Is everyone waiting for the result? Slightly surprised there's not more speculation here, but then again it has taken so long that many won't want to tie up their money for that long.

That waiting until July would shed more light on the future of NCT. Looks like we may have longer to wait for news. Lots of speculation going around but still a little surprised we do not have the cost & profit data for LM20. Lack of news is not necessarily a bad thing. It means that any shorters (if there are any here) will get burnt when movement does come and hopefully RC is so busy that he hasn't had time to do the RNS'. The next news will probably decide my cutting my losses or possibly derisking some if there is an increase in SP. This share hasn't delivered what I hoped but there is still alot to look at and many possibilities. I'm holding for now (with fingers crossed), but no solid information on income is slightly concerning.

Market probably expected news by now - I did too. I can understand companies not wanting to disclose too many dates or information as the shorters just pile in, but this does not seem to be the case here. Even Grl is going back down because there is no news (or money).

Just wondering, by why was there no RNS when the results came out? When looking at the londonstockexchange.com site, the last RNS was 8th June. I know on LSE, the results are shown under 'NCT Live RNS', but why not on the exchange site?
