Aimmillionaire ( hahahahaha!)
So what you’re saying is that everything done up to last year was a complete write off, and we start again from year zero. Ok, get that if there’s actually some clearly defined critical success factors and performance benchmarks again which progress can be gauged, but the problem I have is that the company never gets to a point where it can actually say “here’s a product we’ve been working on, it’s ready for market and we’re looking for sales” it’s always “here’s something we’re working on, and company x/y/z is interested and the future is bright” we then have performance issues, another round of development, and the road to commerciality gets longer….we then get fed stuff about new avenues of opportunity (marine, ev charging, and now construction industry power) which all detract from the main thrust which must surely be to get a workable product to market.
The turbo tower of power is another example of finding a solution for a problem that doesn’t commercially exist (admittedly there may be a PR driven market) but the economics simply don’t stack up with a 10KW unit when you compare the amortised capital cost and running cost of a traditional IC powered unit. All this talk about making it smaller, more powerful over time is fine, but I suspect that until this happens, and with a reasonable purchase price, the market is limited.
I do admit I believe that AB is in a difficult place because he’s having to keep the company profile up without actually having anything marketable on the shelves at present.
I fully accept that we probably are 2 years plus away from any meaningful sales activity, all I’m saying is concentrate on making a saleable product, and stop all of the diversionary BS. We all know that a reliable alkaline fuel cell that doesn’t suffer charge degradation over time is a holy grail, and once proven, worth diamonds, but we need to get that point.
I am, believe it or not, a long term holder and an in it for the long haul, but I do get frustrated at the lack of a cohesive product development plan, as the current approach has all the hallmarks of a board with collective ADHD
