The problem is that there is a singular lack of any form of actual evidence to support anything that's said. The company releases no actual data about how the units have ether performed in the lab, or in the real world, and any performance data issued is released in such an ambiguous way that many interpretations can be applied.

For me, the problem is that we keep being told that everything is going well, and the pathway to commerciality is clear, but there is no hard evidence to support this.

If we could even see something that said "the W model ran continuously for a period of X hours and in that time produced Y amount of power and used Z amount of H2, which at our buy in price cost A, and accordingly there is a cost advantage of B over a diesel genset" then we might have some confidence in the words that come out of AB's mouth, but until such time as we see proper performance data, I shall remain sceptical. Not bashing, just taking an evidence based approach to the investment.

The time to worry is when the CFO moves on to pastures new. Now he didn't look particularly comfortable at the investor presentation, and didn't even seem convinced by his own statements, so only time will tell....

Just out of interest, is the list like a league table, where you can get promoted on how much universal truth you speak that the ubers disagree with?

All of the deluded fools filter all of the bashing scum, and all of the bashing scum filter all of the deluded fools. That way, there will be two echo chambers, the deluded fools can continue on their immensely long path to jam tomorrow economic nirvana, and all of the bashing scum can post exactly what they want about the affairs of the company, each side being safe in the knowledge that no one will ever disagree with them......Yup, that's an ideal world solution to the situation....

The best you can come up with is the old "not a shareholder" routine......Wrong and in any case irrelevant.

I am AIM.......On what planet can you have come to this conclusion. AIM was actually in the Uber camp for a long while before he seemed to smell a rat, at which point you all turned on him (as is usual). I make a very sarcastic comment apparently defending him...note, it was a sarcastic comment based on previous disagreements and lo and behold, I become AIM's alter ego. If you knew you history, you would know that AIM and I had many spats, the last one being over what constitutes a loss on a share.....so if you think I'd go to the lengths of playing such an absolutely ridiculous long game for no purpose, then you are seriously deluded.......

Actually, you probably still do think that I'm playing some mad long game, because you are, of course deluded.....

Ah, that's a really good approach. Only listen to the people who agree with you. I suppose if you do that, then you can carry on keeping the dream alive without being bothered by anything as tiresome as economic reality......

Mine is to quite simply stop this site becoming a one sided rampathon presided over by a bunch extremists who won't allow any form or rational discourse. If that means having a different interpretation of the facts than the collective perceived wisdom of the uber gang, then so be it, all I ask is that when a statement made by the company is challenged, a valid counterpoint is put forward, rather than simply just trying to deflect away from the difficult by simply either ignoring the point, or resorting the the usual selection of snipes.....

As an example, if I were to ask "B3.....what is your position on the alteration of the ABB contract, which has the effect of giving away £2.0M of shareholder value when, if all of the performance metrics had been met, the company was entitled to the £2.0M, do you agree that this was a wise move by the company, and if so, what in your opinion are the perceived benefits that presumably outweigh the cost to the shareholder?" what are the chances of getting a rational response setting out a valid argument in support of the alteration to the contract.....

M3.....Fine words about LSE / FCA looking into the bashing trolls......Flip side to that is the incessant ramping and vociferously shouting down anyone with a differing view.....We are not the ones resorting to insults and making accusations of multiple personae.....Pray explain how the modus operandi of the ramping crew is so much more honourable than that the sceptics....after all, if anyone takes on board what a sceptic says, all they have done is not made a risky investment (and admittedly foregone a potential jam tomorrow profit opportunity), and kept their money, however, if they take on board what the ramping crew say, then they could actually LOSE this money....who does the most damage to the potential investor?

Lets face it, by every measurable metric out there, there is far more reason to believe the doubters than the ramping crew...

I actually stated that I would bring along evidence of the sales enquiry is you were prepared to present evidence of you alternative definition of cumulative power that you apparently got from someone, but when push came to shove, you bottled it….in most circumstances there are two sides to a deal, so why on earth would I waste my time coming to an AGM to simply fulfil my end of a bargain when you had no intention of delivering on your end?

Answer the question, how does changing a contract to give away a £2.0M contractual right make any economic sense, and in your opinion, what is the justification?

Daz….. it’s no joke……the saddest thing is the number of people who just cannot accept that the company has GIVEN AWAY £2.0 M of shareholder value (yes, it affects every one of us because of dilution, albeit in a small way) with no apparent justification…..all we get is “na na…..you didn’t go to the AGM’ as if that’s some kind of justification by proxy…..

Never mind, all is looking good for the future…..all we need to do is reduce the cost of production, increase the charge density, reduce membrane degradation, reduce the price of hydrogen, and “hockey stick ahoy”

ABB may have paid £2.0m for the shares, but the flip side to the transaction was a reduction in the amount payable under the terms of the contract, ergo ABB are getting £2.0m worth of more value than they were under the original deal, and this presumably was done for a reason.

A bulk discount of future orders is incentivisation enough in itself, so what us the true reason for the £2.0 reduction in the contract value…..that’s all I want to know, but everyone seems to be in denial that this simply doesn’t stack up if the contractual performance metrics have been achieved…. If someone can satisfactorily answer to I’ll stop asking the question…..

Looks like the question was indeed taken on board, and a lame attempt at justification made, but I'm not really sure that saying that giving away £2.0M of shares in order to get your hands on the cash earlier is a valid justification; similarly saying you can never underestimate the value of a pipeline really holds sway unless there is some kind of contractual tie in, which in this case there isn't, other than the carrot of a discount.....All the talk about ABB effectively "earning the deferred income" is complete nonsense.....

And there is a difference between having a cosy chat either before or after the event, and actually answering a question in open forum, the word in question is deniability..... This is the reason that difficult questions never get aired.....
