"A man goes into a bar, he says he has bough shares in a company that's developing ground breaking tech and the company apparently has the first mover advantage on this tech. The CEO takes more in remuneration than the company turns over, the company hasn't made any commercial sales of any product ever, and it couldn't even deliver on the one commercial project it had sufficiently competently so as to be able to collect its contractual entitlement, and the share price has slipped from his buy in of 40 pence to mid teens......the CEO said, at the point the man purchased the shares that there were over 50 qualified sales enquiries, but none of these have materialised, the company was also involved in the development of groundbreaking "holy grail" tech, but this seems to have been put on the back burner or, more likely on a pile marked "too difficult".......the punchline to this joke is that the man is still defending the company and looking for "jam tomorrow" but even funnier, some of his mates are buying more shares and "loving the company"

Now here's a wizard wheeze........I'm a construction company, and being all wokey and that, want to be seen to be doing my bit for the polar bears, and all that, so I want to be seen to be investigating ways of reducing the amount of fossil fuels I burn on site to power the three kettles in the staff room......Problem.....how do I do that? I can either go out to the market and but in (at very significant cost) from someone like Panasonic, or alternatively do a deal with a company that thinks its developing a viable product (or, at least, that's what they're telling their shareholders) where they let me have one effectively for free, because I'm reverse charging them the costs on the basis of "consideration in kind"......doesn't matter to me one jot, because I've ticked the greenwash box at very little cost, and I have no tie in for future sales.....

Or to put it another way, the things aren't viable as products, and they've been placed with various contractors as a part of a mutually beneficial symbiotic con.......I will of course be proven 100 percent incorrect when the amazing towers of power go flying off the shelves.....

EV charging infrastructure is problematic at the moment because of the way you have to tap into the grid to get sufficient current, and will only get worse as more people buy into the EV con........The question is, what is the valid alternative.......fuel cells may possibly be the answer, but not in their current form, so it may well be a hybrid system of a fuel cell running 24/7 to effectively trickle charge large capacity batteries / supercapacitors which can then discharge to the chargers. It's evident that FC technology is unlikely to be able to deliver in an on demand basis, so one would hope that AFC are throwing significant resource into this aspect of the chain. Is it not better to acknowledge the limitations of your product, and implement a sensible workaround using technology that is proven, rather than the JFK route......

Please explain why it should be necessary to attend an AGM in order to ask a question about the company's product. The only reason there is any doubt about whether or not the is capable of delivering 100Kw is because of the ambiguity in the RNS, and the company's decision to not receive funds to which it would be contractually entitled, had the requisite performance metrics have been met.

If the company is unable to issue press releases, etc. without sufficient clarity, then are they not culpable if someone picks them up on it?

Difference is, with Ryanair, that's applying a different application to existing technology that has been proven to work as required.....We know that Ryanair planes can fly, and travel a 350 miles per hour (or whatever, for the pedants) whenever the pilot needs to to do just that. If you look at the RNS ref the 100KW system, then in Ryanair terms, all is says is that the plane travelled 350 miles (or whatever, for the pedants) doesn't say how long it took to get there.....It's this, coupled with the £2.0M giveaway that causes me concern.....

Yup, I know I sound like a broken record, but no one has yet provided proof that the above is not the case.....Please prove and then I'll shut up about it......

Question is, how long did the thing take to produce the 100kw? If you know, please enlighten us…….as we know, the RNS stated that it had produced a cumulative output of 100kw, and NOT that it had demonstrated that it could deliver a charge of 100kw on an instantaneous and prolonged basis (nameplate rating)

If you can show me something that states that it met it’s 100kw nameplate rating I stand corrected…..

No, Alkamem hasn’t been dropped, but it has been kicked down the road so far as to be irrelevant at this moment in time….as for the 100kw unit, somethings been delivered, but whether it’s 100 kw nameplate we have no idea

Get a grip.......I wasn't the one who started the condescending tone, it was Buenavista. I challenge you to put a valid counter argument to the points raised in the post that you have taken exception to. Of course you won't because that's not the modus operandi of the deluded.....

What I personally do take exception to is you using the employment status in such a derogatory way. If there were such a phrase, you could be accused of unemployophobia..........which isn't nice and in fact is sort of hate speech......
