Quite simply because whilst I wasn't there, I had a contact who most definitely was, and he reported back a synopsis of the salient points, and the burning question that B3 is not prepared to answer most definitely wasn't raised.

Criticise a child for underperforming? If by that, you mean tell them that they are not fulfilling their true potential, then absolutely. The general thrust to not do this is what has created the snowflake generation, who are generally entitled, because of a singular lack of ability to take responsibility for their actions, and apologist parents who make every excuse under the sun to justify the below par performance......uncomfortable parallels between your stance on AFC?

As far as I'm concerned, you are very much wide of the mark. You can be concerned about something, and be critical of it, without wanting it to fail.
Use children as an example; A parent may care deeply for their child, and only want the best for them, but if the child underperforms, what is the correct course of action? There are two approaches, you either make the child aware of its shortcomings and tell it to pull its finger out and work harder, or you continually make excuses for the underperformance, and blame every other circumstance rather than criticise the child. In my experience, the children whose parents expressed a little "tough love" tend to grow up to be far more well rounded individuals than those who, to use a phrase, "have had smoke blown up their ****", who have been allowed to carry on in their merry way without being brought to account.
Within the context of the company, most who express concern tend to struggle with those who seem to be blowing smoke up the company's collective ****....I respect everyone's right to express enthusiasm for the company, but that certainly doesn't mean that anyone else's view is wrong, or that they do not have a vested interest in the company succeeding..

Daz. And even better, £200K of the 2022 revenue is made up, because there is a corresponding expense in the accounts (net leasing income £10K anyone?

Whether or not you believe that the questions from the floor is up to you, it’s your prerogative, just the same as it’s my prerogative to believe that there will be no difficult curve ball questions coming from the floor.

If you did indeed know what deferred income was, then why did you include as revenue in your earlier statement when clearly it isn't, and your statement is therefore incorrect and misleading.... the relevant phrase is REVENUE RECOGNITION.......You put words in my mouth, I never said that the goods wouldn't be delivered, I simply pointed out that it is incorrect to include it within the context of this years results, which is what we are looking at.
Ask yourself, which is more dangerous, someone who expresses doubt over something who, if believed, might persuade someone to not invest in what is after all a very risky market (and thereby run the risk of NOT losing money that cannot afford) or a cabal of people who simply cannot see a negative in anything and shout down anyone who expresses any kind of doubt, thereby creating a false sense confidence in the company, which may lead the unwary to invest money they can ill afford to lose, and ultimately lose significant portion thereof. it cold in fact be argued that those who were attempting to shout down the doubters when this thing stood at 50 pence should be held culpable for any situation where investors who listened to they hype then are currently underwater.
In answer to your question "Why don't I sell up and ....." Firstly, why should I yield to bullies as a point of principle, and secondly, maybe I have a duty to try to get some sense of balance in the argument, simply to stop the unwary getting swept along with the collective euphoria of the uber gang. The flip side to your question could be "if you don't like it, go join the telegram group" but as most of them infect this board on a daily basis, that would probably be a pretty lonely place....

Just looking at the directors remuneration section in the accounts. Apart from the CEO's remuneration being pretty heroic, I see that the total NED remuneration package has increased by a modest £119K over the previous year. More interestingly, Mr Bullard's remuneration has increased by £45,000 which is coincidentally the amount that he or his wife stumped up when he bought the four tranches of shares, presumably in an attempt to show that someone in the company had the confidence to buy shares other than by way of cheap options.
OK, so the remuneration is subject to tax, and his net receipt will have been £23,850, but as the shares have a current value of approximately £22,000 it does kind of look like it was ultimately self funding, albeit at the company's expense (it will actually have cost the company £51,200 to deliver this, by the way)
Or it might just be a coincidence, and he does in fact really really believe.....

You are in fact a tad wring there. included in "income" is a mythical amount of about £200K which relates to income in kind, being the value of the marketing exposure that the so called customers brought to the table by allowing the company to use their sites for in field testing. If you take this out of the frame, then the actual sales are in fact less than stated (one would question why the company chose to disclose it in this way, rather than not simply netting off the so called income received in kind with the corresponding expense which is the other side of the entry in the P&L.

Constructivenews. Suggest you learn how to read a balance sheet and find out what deferred income means before spouting off. Deferred income doesn't actually exist until the work / product that it relates to has been delivered, hence the phrase "Deferred" The fact that the company decides to link income with deferred income is a strategy purely designed so that dolts who don't know what the weasel words mean can misinterpret things and then go on the offensive on BB's such as this.
