You were wrong when you said a manufacturer would need test their tooling, resulting products etc before entering into an agreement with Symphony. They won’t. If they have concerns (which I’m sure Symphony can reassure them about) then a suitable contract can easily be negotiated with clauses to address them. There won’t be a substantial delay for testing batches before contracts are agreed. Is that what you mean ?

My knowledge of tooling for injection moulding I s limited, although as do know what an injection mould is. That limited knowledge is irrelevant as I am not attempting to develop a novel product for use in the plastics industry. However, Symphony Environmental have knowledge, partners and products. They are very aware of the potential problems and pitfalls. If you have some novel insight that you think they haven’t anticipated then I recommend you email them directly.
PS items such as gloves aren’t made using injection moulding by the way.

People will be readily signing contracts with suitable clauses for protection should there turn out to be an unexpected problem. All standard practice.
You clearly are not an industry expert as tooling is completely irrelevant to d2p and will be totally unaffected by the addition of d2p. The whole point of Symphony’s products is that no changes are required to formulation or manufacture apart from inclusion of the additive.
Pot calling the kettle black springs to mind here. If you don’t like your opinions being challenged then don’t state them on a bulletin board like this.

Crazyfund. We aren’t talking about structural plastics here. I can’t see any of that being applicable to the potential uses of d2p here which single use disposable items. It is very straightforward to structure a contract to include milestones such as successful trial runs and doubtless that will all be considered. It doesn’t delay signing a contract.
The advantages of being the first mover will be significant and although you do not believe any one will be interested I think there are many that already are. We are here primed and waiting for news on the deals that will likely come and in the short term.

In the context of the surface decontamination it has been used to study; the answer to ‘how close’ is identical.

d2p is an additive which when used with existing plastics tended them oxo-biodegradable. The time scale is proportional to how much d2p is used.
The important difference between d2p and other plastics is that it results in oxo-biodegradation to CO2 and water - no micro plastic particles that are produced from other biodegradable polymers.

I assure you that I am not a prat, not ‘pumping’ and not remotely scared of a red day, week or even month. I’ve been invested in Symphony before they were called Symphony and will remain so for several years to come.

I am not ‘ramping’ and I don’t believe any change in company value can be achieved through this message board. We all have our opinions and views which is fair and fine. Why keep posting the same rhetoric on how you don’t believe d2p inactivates COVID-19 ? Are you trying to convince people that the previous RNS and the BoD are wrong ? Are you trying to convince yourself ? If in doubt and you have a holding then sell and leave. If you don’t then look elsewhere or observe and ponder. It is up to the individual maufacturers to make their choices; not including d2p could result in a company being left in the cold if others do so. My guess is they will be very interested once the final report is out. The test methodology used including the use of a bovine betacoronavirus satisfies anti-SARS-CoV-2 regulatory standards in both Europe (EN 14476) and the USA (ASTM E1052) and as such is recognised as anti-covid19. Other territories invariable rely on the standards set in Europe/USA.

Where do you get 'not tested sufficiently' from ? In your opinion perhaps but otherwise this is all that is necessary and anyone involved in biomedical research will know that.
