It is odd by any standards of professional management that a company with so much possible potential should be so inactive on the drilling front. I recall at one stage that Telfer hosted one of the countries leading drilling outfits who were not "tied" to Telfer but just rented their facilities etc. I am certain that they would still be available in some way to actually "Go Drilling" and explore part of our potential find.

The other plan might be just to talk about the potential long enough for someone to want to get RP out of the way and get on with the job. GGP have too much on their plates to think about it at the moment but an interesting curved ball might be someone else coming in to bid and sneaking in under their noses.

However the only way of getting true value is to prove up the resource and then allow bids which will blow the doors off.

Valuation on the floor and share volume tiny at present.

Does anyone know a good drilling company.... shall we have a whip round and get them in?

No doubt RP will have a whip round anyway and "not get them in" just yet!

Having read the RNS it simply reiterates the detail from the presentation on 15th 16th October by EGL who have done the Mobile MT scanning at Red Setter. They confirm the theory that RS looks very much like the original Telfer dome and is encouraging that we have a 3km taget zone with about 80 mtrs of cover to get through.

Being 13 km from Telfer remains encouraging.

Sadly no new news about drilling yet but as always RP is "looking forward to the next stage in RS exploration programme bouyed by the value-added insights provided by these findings"

Nothing new sadly.

Whilst I thank the knowledgeable posters on this BB , all are more knowledgeable than I am that's a cert, this last few days has the feeling of a dam filling up. All looking towards Wednesday next week for our next announcement of yet another breakthrough. However as this is Aim I suspect all good news will be negated once the traders have made their 5%.

One cannot guess how the market will react in the short term but I agree that holding what I have seems the safest option and sit tight ready for the day when we "blow the "b****y" doors off.

Stating the obvious but despite the fantastic news it remains a fact that being an AIM share will somehow take the shine off the possible progress in the share price. However patience and faith will overcome the matter in due course.

Whilst knowing nothing of what is actually going on with the final sign off two things spring to mind.

Is the principal holding out for a better slice of the action since gold has risen and every time it goes up they try to grab a bigger piece of the pie?

Or is Harry refusing to play ball with individuals who think that they deserve "commission" for helping the deal go through.

One hears so much about dealings in Africa that perhaps Harry has to play by the proper rules.

All purely speculation as I am sure you are aware but my guess may be as good as any other.

Red Setter remains a vast unknown despite the limited drilling that has been done so far!

It could be massive or it could be a complete damp squib but you place your bets and wait!

I placed a lot of mine early on and topped up on the way down. The advice of not catching a falling knife would be appropriate but a bet is a bet!

Let’s hope RP and the drilling boys can find even stronger evidence of a reasonable find!

Not expecting another Havieron but it is all about location location location and they have certainly got that first bit spot on!

Shaun Day at GGP is known to talk about elephant hunting for the next big find.

We are definitely in what’s has been suggested is elephant country but we need far more investigation and investment to find our own jumbo!

I agree that we must be of great interest to many explorers at the moment and let’s hope RP has a team that know what they are doing.

Well at the end of the day we obviously have a few more holders and a lot of profile from the 50% increase registered on the various boards.

Lets hope we can continue the momentum in the coming weeks.

The hope for us all is the fact that they have bought/are buying Telfer.

Telfer already has a massive stock pile ready to process so GGP will be a gold producer far quicker than expected and then Havieron will start to provide the highest quality ore for may years.

The fact that Red Setter is 10km from Telfer means that they must be looking at whatever we do and hoping we find anything. Gold/Silver/PM's of any kind will do to help fill the capacity of Telfer (20mtons per annum)

Logic says they may not have a lot of spare cash at the moment but to be honest they wont need a lot.

If they don't want us someone else might and steal us from under their very noses.

So I reckon we are a three way gamble.

JV with any number of options and finally as a bonus ball.

We might have a drill ourselves and report some results at last.

To be honest the last one is my least favourite as it means RP and the team have to actually do something and I do not think that they are up for it at present.

I hope I am wrong as that last one would be a real bonanza.
