As said so often we are close to Telfer which Newmont now own or GGP might enjoy exploring our tenement also.

Wishbone is doing the same as all PM explorers are.

Closing their eyes and stabbing blindly into the ground.

Chance of success is slight - each drill may only give a tiny clue as to the real potential.

However, they are at least in the right part of the outback to have random stabs.

The value of this company is not in what thy have found but in what they have access too.

Like all real estate its about Location Location Location.

If the share prices drops further it just makes them more of a takeover target. If they find anything useful they will be a JV and takeover target. If they run out of cash before they find anything they are still 13 k from Telfer which is desperate for ore above 1gm per ton.

So I still think at worst its an each way bet.

Valuation is dropping as fast as the drill bit so loose change for someone with £3m to spend.

As an LTH with no mining knowledge to start with , just a lucky feeling about GGP when Newcrest bailed out of EG, I would like to thank Bamps, Paddy and all who have contributed to the reassuring facts that support us all.

Hope springs eternal and it is beginning to look as if Harry may at last see the end of the beginning.

Of course a long way to go both legally and practically but we do know there is gold to be dug out and its quite probable there is more than we know at the moment.

So a tiny top up just because I can and good luck to everyone who has lasted the pace.

13 years is a long time to wait for a piece of paper to be signed.

Its understandable when news is slow to arrive and the fear is it will be negative when it does.

However at a current valuation of £4.9m and just 297m shares in play one would hope that the very licenses we own would be worth that much to someone with deeper pockets and deeper drilling potential.

Trust is a commodity in rather short supply here at the moment but with luck we may well see a return to the days of 17p with one successful drill being reported.

As we all know the takeover of Newcrest by Newmont has kind of stalled a lot of activity in some Australian gold mine action.

Obviously those in JV with Newcrest, notably GGP, have been sitting on their hands for at least 18 months waiting for the outcome and understand how it effects them. It looks as if they are about to issue an update MRE and very soon become active in the market in some way.

Newmont have not yet formally announced their plans in Aus and in particular how they will make the savings they have promised their shareholders. Obviously the big question for us is about Telfer processing facility being continued and the need for Havieron (GGP JV) to provide the high quality ore to justify keeping the aging leviathan open and upgraded. It will certainly not fill the capacity at Telfer and much more will be needed to satisfy Newmont's ambitions.

The Telfer mine itself is currently running on empty and the ore being processed is reported to be of just enough quality to be profitable.

Scenarios exist for us all to gamble on:-

1. Telfer continues to function and Newmont look for more JV's with existing explorers closer to bring volume ore to the processing site.

2. Newmont close Telfer down and GGP and their backers buy it. (decommissioning commitments would make it affordable) Then GGP continue to search ore for more or as an explorer/producer

3. GGP become the primary explorer in the region and work with the nearest potentials to Telfer to find the next Havieron but closer to Telfer processing faciity.

4.GGP buy back the rest of the JV from Newmont and setup their own processing plant at the Havieron site, allowing the rest of Patterson explorers to join in the fun as toll or royalty clients

5. All or any of the above.

So as we sit so close to Telfer and we are drilling Red Setter right now I can only see plus signs everywhere assuming we find something worth digging out.

It may also be that even if we miss GGP might want to take us over and use their expertise to find HAV2 themselves.

One remains an optimist tinged with realism. Finding gold or copper is not as easy as us none miners think it is.

Having first bought shares in Kefi on 20/10/2010 one would hope that we get a result from TULI KAPI before another decade slips by. The frustration of dealing with such a troubled nation must have driven Harry to more than one glass of wine in its day and I must admire the mans tenacity for a tough deal. Herding cats would be a piece of cake compared to this.

I hope for all our sakes - and especially Harry's health and state of mind that we see December pass with funds in the bank and at least the majority of the paperwork completed so HA can take a sigh of relief and smile.

I have refreshed my enthusiasm by looking at the projects on the website and reaffirmed why this is a very good gamble.

TK has potential as a company maker with out SA coming to be the rather huge cherry and the icing on top of the cake.

However all this depends on one last - last - last push over the line then we can all relax and count some profit at last.

I must agree that the past slight of hand has made this a very nervous set of shareholders.

Hard assay evidence is all we need and only verified and accurate information.

Until we get that nobody will trust anything broadcast.

Obviously we are all waiting for positive news from RS and no doubt Newmont and GGP will be watching too. GGP have funds to acquire additional properties/ prospects and we may soon have news on the future of Telfer.

Our proximity to the massive processing facility must make us prime target if we find anything worthwhile.

Hang on to those tickets and keep everything crossed. With so few shares in play we may well leap back up as we did before .

Like so many LTSH we all remember the disappointment when the JV with Newmont fell through after they had been working on it for 6 months I think.

I wonder if they have passed on all they learned from their investigations or whether they know more than they might have let on?.

NO its all the no commission trades coming through. The dealers buy at high prices and sell at low so they make their margin that way on tiny trades

More and more of them about.

Whilst the RNS was positive in some ways it only told us that we still haven't started the "free" RC drilling at Cottesloe yet!

It confirmed that the previous shallow drilling (Esso) had some positive outcomes which is why we are poised to drill further down to find the main ore body , which assuming we hit, will change everything. However the reaction has been to sell with marginal profit and come back later when drilling has started. Now that is Cottesloe - what about Red Setter.

I should know , but don't , if that is their priority drilling and should be commissioned first?

But picked up a few more just in case as I still see this as a fairly save each way bet.
