I guess this continues the long term trend of hopeless promises and unsubstantiated optimism. Having said that with the market cap only £3m (ish) surely the potential assets would be worth a punt by an existing miner in any of the licensed areas that we have. Changing govt. strategy in Philippines might even be enough to trigger interest.
Tempted to double up and forget them as I am , like everyone, massively down on original investment.

All rather surprising that they have made this comparison. Only the drill bit will confirm it but rather pleasing despite that!

I wonder if there is an impact today and tomorrow for sales being made ready for ISA purchases shortly. That and the impact of warrants may be affecting what seems to be an obvious good news story which has not yet produced the price rise we all expected.

That and perhaps some people away trapped in Dover!!!!

An extract from the RNS of 20th March suggests that the potential to start producing Lithium seems relatively close.
"Imminent" is vague but better than "some way off". Patience is being rewarded at last I hope.

Furthermore, the recently commenced drilling programmes on adjacent licence areas are designed to confirm our belief that the Erongo region is one of the emerging tech-metals provinces globally. Andrada's significant first mover advantage is its ability to capitalise on the existing proven operational footprint."

It seems prudent to look at the two analytical companies being contracted to tell us where to drill.
To be honest I have no knowledge of such matters but I see from both their websites that they appear credible and successful in their own fields. Also I see no obvious vested interests at play with neither RP nor Mr Lenigas involved. This gives me hope.
As for the snails pace I can only agree it seems very slow indeed but I remain convinced that there is something viable under the shallow topsoil. I cannot believe that something completely surrounded by high quality ore and a very near location to the rather desperate Telfer processing plant , Newcrest owned , is not of interest.
The Newcrest / Newmont takeover battle may give the area a new dimension. Havieron (GGP 10moz gold discovery no matter what they say) is poised to start feeding Telfer plant just in time. If Newcrest sell to Newmont they may want to hold onto that golden egg or GGP might have to fund it but whatever happens Havieron by itself is not able to feed the jaws of Telfer with enough ore - no matter what the quality. It remains logical that if we find anything above 1 gr Au per ton near the surface (less than 200 mts) then whoever owns Telfer will be interested in buying/JV etc with us who are just 13 km away. Havieron in 45 km away.

However as we are not even on the Lassonde Curve yet we desperately need some results from all this electro mumbo jumbo.

It may be that RP does not want to become a miner but just wants to find something to sell on to someone else..... lets hope so. With so few shares in play we should zoom up when we get any good news.
This is not good news or bad news its just news......

I will await the Newcrest/Newmont debate with renewed interest.
So I remain very hopeful that we might find something and hopefully before we all lose interest.

RNS from 22nd Dec 2022 says that we will have to wait 6 weeks once the data has been obtained for the latest game of hide and seek with improved technology. As we are moving towards ,or maybe in already , the new drilling season one might hope that the 6 weeks might be starting within the next month or so. April fools day would be a great day for the next RNS as long as it continues to build an accurate picture of the ore bodies.(note the plural)

I have no doubt there is gold in them thar hills but we have no idea how deep or where its hiding.

Its tedious just going backwards at present but with the small number of shares in issue when we move it will be faster than the proverbial rat up the theoretical drainpipe.

I rarely post as to be honest it will never make any difference to the share price but I must comment on the latest RNS and its timing factor.
At least they have set a reasonable target date for more positive news so that we can all take a position to suit our risk profile before the next release of positive outcomes.

They have also covered the chance of any failure by leaving April Fools Day as a probable release date. Covers both success and failure at the same time.

In the meantime to 5% traders will continue to bleat moan and cheer as they think fit.

Right back to the real world and watching Donald Trump make a fool of himself once again.

Sadly for so many of us we are seen by the "market" as an explorer who have 30 % of one world class discovery and no absolute commitment to get the ore out of the ground. Until we get the DTM and of course the long awaited results of 12 months very very busy drilling by our "Senior Partner" we will languish as an explorer no matter what happens between Newcrest and Newmont. However there is ample evidence that time is the only unknown factor.
Of course the DTM will happen - the cost of the decline and the need for Telfer to have proper feed material is obvious to us all. So like many here I am just picking up a few more shares each month and tucking them away ready for a B&B as soon as the new ISA allowance comes into play.

Remember Warren Buffet made more money waiting than he did trading.

Rather a subdued amount of activity today compared with yesterday. I can almost feel the tension.

Dual listing is an interesting thought and logic says it will happen at some stage.
My thoughts, fwtaw, is that once TK is confirmed and the finances committed (and paid over) then the market will begin to see how big the potential is in SA.

Our partner in SA has a far greater sway than many and I would imagine is very keen to get digging and earn some serious money. But first the permissions and the project plans and then the diggers can move in. It seems that SA has huge potential for open pit production to get the gold out in the early stages. After that all bets are off.

So a few more TK hurdles and then hopefully we can start looking for Harry to sit back and relax for a while.

What a lot of speculation and excitement elsewhere about the Newman bid for Newcrest and the ramifications for the Patterson area in general. Whoever wins (or loses) the battle the processing plant at Telfer is the key asset in reality it seems. As the Telfer ore runs out whoever ends up owning it will need as much ore as they can find to make it viable once again. We know about the elephant in the room (Havieron) but Newmont may also want to landgrab as much as they can as close as they can to maximise its 20m ton capacity.
I guess we may be part of that landgrab even if we have yet to find any meaningful results. at £7m we are hardly a massive investment. More like loose change really,
Any sniff of the real thing and we might fly higher than a Chinese spy balloon.

All speculation of course but I am rather underwater here so any snorkel will be helpful.

It seems that we are victims of poor management and poor communications whether that be deliberate or just incompetency its hard to tell. One thing however remains true - we own a very large piece of the hottest gold mining territory in the Patterson , plus other potential winners as well, which regardless of the company looking for the payload will stay in place till they either find it - get bought out - or convince someone else to pay for and manage the drilling.(JV)

I find it hard to believe that there is nothing of value on our patch so despite a thumping loss at present I will ride out this nonsense with fingers crossed. We are still only 13k from Telfer and still only valued at less than £10m with 200m shares in issue at present.

Newcrest have that sort of cash down the back of the sofas in the boardroom.

Whilst I am aware the picture on twitter a while ago may have been unauthorised by Managament, a potentially criminal offence, the core sample illustrated an awful lot of something shiny. I wonder if that drill result has yet to surface?

The history of successful mines is littered with early misses and Havieron is a good example.
Telfer was not found with the first drill either.
Disappointing so far but they have proved in a small way that the intrusion continues along the south western path from Telfer. Just not found it yet.

However if the share price falls much further someone will want the assets for themselves. Loose change for someone like Newcrest to get hands on a potential extension to Telfer perhaps.

Only time will tell.

Always depressing when there are more posts than trades in a day.
However this still remains a binary gamble in my limited view.
Logic suggests that there must be some valuable ore down in Red Setter and hopefully nearer the surface than Havieron and Telfer.
Logic also suggests that Newcrest know as much about the drilling as WSBN do and certainly more than you and I.

BUT logic is irrelevant in this scenario. We either hit it or we don't.
If we do the limited number of shares (199m) means dramatic price changes.
If we don't I think the downside at present is pretty limited as we are almost at rock bottom (excuse the pun) already.

Holding far too many for comfort but its a gamble. Widows and orphans need not apply and only gamble what you can ultimately afford to lose.
Like Boromad I am holding with fingers crossed which is not as easy as it sounds.

I must also wonder if NewCrest have had word of or seen the drill results (visual at the site). The drill team reside at the Telfer campsite and also do a lot of the Havieron drilling. I suspect somebody knows far more than we do but cannot use the information yet.
Speculation obviously but what else is there to talk about now that they are out of the world cup??
