I for one, of no doubt many, am still waiting for the facts behind the possibility that the recent twitter photo of a rather stunning looking core sample was really from Red Setter.
Looked extremely interesting at the time but until it’s been through assay and verification it could be a scam!
Rather a serious offence if it is a scam but a very splendid discovery if it’s real!

Jury still out and may be a while yet as these results take an eternity to be produced!

As has been said so often Aim investors need three things.
Funds that they are prepared to lose
A spread of potentially excellent investments a couple of which will come to fruition eventually
A massive amount of luck

WSBN falls into the middle of those statements in my opinion. DL is not a mug - even if one is unsure of his ethics sometimes - but he knows more than I do about the Paterson region so if he accepts 14.5p then that's ok by me.

Obviously we are all waiting for the Red Setter drilling results after those teasing photos and let's hope they were not spamming us. I am sure they would not do that as its highly illegal and the consequences would be dire.

So good news today - more drilling to be done at some stage. Let's hope somebody else can help pay for it.

If memory serves me well - if you read the book responsible for that quote you will find that in the end the blind people murder the sighted person out of fear of the power he can wield.

Thanks to the GGP lse board it has been stated that Newcrest are having to run Telfer at a loss and are obviously very keen on changing that position if true.
Local high grade ore to add to the mix might attract their attention to bolster the volume Havieron can provide In 18 months time.

I listened to the Vox interview and as has been said he spent most of it explaining about JV between GGP and Newcrest. The financing of GGP by other major players seemed to stimulate his interest and might have suggested he was hoping somebody would pick up the potential JV at Red Setter.
The Newcrest team must have seen the cores from Red Setter before they went to assay office!! They are all camped together at Telfer I understand so either we have all been hoodwinked by photos on twitter or we are just being impatient!

I am prepared to wait for the 3 months RP suggests for the results and either win or lose big time.

The chance of gold/copper being found so close to Telfer is worth the gamble.13km rather than the 45km from Havieron . Havieron won’t keep Telfer full so any find we make will have room to be processed at Telfer with its massive capacity. Newcrest are processing dross at present it seems just to keep Telfer ticking over.

Whatever Machiavellian titles people use it is obvious to all of us that NC need Havieron live and producing ore yesterday!
Telfer is trundling along with low grade ore and if they don’t get high grade ore within the shortest possible time it will become a liability nor an asset.
Telfer must cost millions of dollars to keep going so Havieron is their fastest route to increasing value.

Patience needed and doom mongers should be ignored.
Buy the dips and just tuck the shares away for twelve months

Newcrest declined to purchase the additional 5% of Havieron from GGP this week following worse than expected results and reduced dividend. The implication being that they are cash poor but future assets rich. However Havieron won’t fill the capacity for the Telfer processing facility so I guess if we do find shallow depth ore then we are still the quick win option. As always the biggest word is IF.

Along with all other reasons some traders will be taking their weekly profit this morning. No such thing as a bad profit as they say. We wont have much news in the next week or so I guess so they will be off looking for the next 10% win.

However they will be back perhaps as early as this afternoon ready for another 5% or more next week.

Hold for gold if you can and add on the dips.

Newcrest will be all over this , Telfer mine processing desperate for quality ore as they are relying on Havieron next year to stop it becoming a massive costly drain on profits. Havieron has the quality but getting it out in real quantity will be tough as it is so deep.
A nearer shallower resource (15km away) would be far easier to bulk mine , even if quality lower than Havieron.
Lets hope the gold we saw was real and lots of it near the surface.

After so many tweets and mid-day RNS's I suspect that legislative prudence has its hand clamped over GL's mouth and handcuffed him from his phone.
Most out of character for them not to hint or suggest where they are in the delayed installation proofing process so I think every possibility is in play now.
Patience will be rewarded after all these long and tedious years.

I am sure many others who have followed the long slow decline of KEFI - despite the constant belief that Tulu Kapi will eventually come good - are relieved that SA has now taken the lead in many ways.
I am sure that the EG mean to make TK happen as they need it , far more than SA, to support their financial position but the instability remains a massive doubt in most investors minds. Hence the delay in financing the project.

SA of course is different. Once the nod is given from the ruling elite then there will be no shortage of funds or permissions.

So it will be a long haul here but as long as Harry manages to stay friends with all the parties I can see a massive upside eventually.
Just my personal view and does not constitute advice just an opinion from a perpetual optimist.

I recall from earlier RNS announcements that the drilling team were based at Telfer Mine and were the same team that worked with NewCrest on Havieron.
Now I may be making 5 out of 2 and 2 here but I suspect NewCrest saw these photos before we did.

As Red Setter is only 13-15 K from Telfer I would be amazed if the extra drilling rig they are looking for is not released from one of the existing NC projects in the area.

The big news may well be a JV announcement once the official assay reports are available.
No doubt there has been some local calculations done already from the visual analysis but not possible to release them for obvious reasons.

Anyway hold for the ride. This could get very interesting.
