I agree that we don't get much daily news but each RNS costs money and whilst we are asset rich being cash prudent is no bad thing.

Blackstone shares currently @ $ .069 US and we have 139m I believe plus warrants.

Unless my math's is still bad I make that about £7m give or take a thousand. Dollar rate being $1.35 to the £

So we are kind of underwritten by the Blackstone Mankayan value even though they have only just started to look at heir new drilling campaign in the Philippines.

So I guess Hope is in there for almost zero and that means hanging on for as long as it takes for the rest of the market to get on the bus.

I think I will keep holding for a while yet.

Thank you for your input and I must concur. The delay is understandable and FD are trying to play with a straight bat. I am sure they could find a new investor if they wanted to reduce their share substantially but for now I will add more as the dips occur. Medium term , 6 months or so, this will be very much higher in price.

Sorry to put some weather issues on the site but Telfer has had some flooding from the latest Cyclone and I suspect that weather hit Red Setter area as well as a wide part of the Patterson. Maybe delays as we await a result so lets hope we get some news to balance out the effect that might have on the drilling.

Having been in this epic saga since 2010 and sustained sizable losses, as for some phycological weakness I have held on, I finally believe we are nearing the final leg of the quadathlon (bigger than a Triathlon) .

Harry seems absolutely determined to see this over the line as he has spent most of his adult life chasing what we all thought was a certain winner in the short term.

All credit to the mans tenacity and sheer pig headedness when this finally gets the rubber stamp from the financial procrastinators.

The single fact of Gold surging 50% since the start of this journey would have persuaded most investors that this was a great opportunity at the ground level to make a mint of money..... but obviously I don't understand risk and reward yet.

Perhaps soon we will all be put out of our misery and see a shovel hit the ground and dig out some of the gold we know is there waiting for us.

1.25p would suit me nicely. 2.5p means I could afford a new analyst to help cure me of this loyalty trait.

Until we get drill bit results from deeper 500 metre plus we have no idea what’s down there.

So far all the discussion has been wild speculation and wishful (wishbone) thinking.

So let’s all calm down and wait with excitement for the results but remember very few drills hit pay dirt first time and Telfer was no exception.

Whilst Ernest looks very exciting indeed and I have looked at the maps on the Corporate website ,Frankly I have no idea how far away EG is from Telfer.

Knowing Australia it is probably thousands of kilometers away.

Would I be correct in assuming that any large find would need new plant and processing facilities built, in time , or is there an existing "Telfer type" processing facility already built and used by another successful company.

One is always aware that finding the pot of gold is just the start of the spending before the returns make a profit.

None the less very exciting times at last,

This is an extract from the RNS from 4th December 2023

It shows that the initial drilling went beyond 250 meters and reached at least 320m.

Nothing conclusive but it shows that there are measurable amounts of Gold on the way down to the target depth of the Dome

I am encouraged by the results but as always the management does not have my complete confidence.

Drilling schedule needs more detail for confidence to return.

Richard Poulden, Wishbone Gold's Chairman, commented: "Considering Telfer is one of the largest gold mines in Australia and has an average gold grade of only 0.5g/t, our experienced consultant geologists are saying that Red Setter looks highly promising as a gold project of real potential scale and size with mineralisation now encountered over a 3km strike. We look forward to continuing this drill programme once the diamond drill rigs mobilise to site next year."

The modelling of last year's drill program (as originally announced on 12 December 2022) shows some high-grade intersected close to surface mineralisation within wide lower grade intercepts over a strike length of over 3km, (Figure 1) including:

Obviously I don't mean the literal ground - rather that the completion of GGP purchasing Telfer and the advancement of all the potential there has given more of a focus to WSBN. When NewCrest and Newmont were involved the chances of a deal of any sort (if we found ore) were perhaps more complicated and it seemed that neither of them were in growth mode. Rather seems that they sat on their existing assets and used it as a cash cow with out re-investing in the facility and the surrounding areas. Hence the sale to Greatland when the profitability dropped below the Boards requirements.

Now with GGP thriving and being very proactive indeed there may be a better chance of a deal when we find something worth while.

All the BitCoin (which I fail to understand) talk is beyond me but I am sure others have a better feel for its potential.

All I am gambling on (and it is a big gamble) is that the drill bit will find something worth developing and hopefully fairly soon.

The cash is there, the kit is ready and the holes are pre drilled to 250 meters. What's the delay?

Having been in both GGP and WSBN for years I would love WSBN to find something definite. However the drill bit is the only thing that will shift us to the giddy heights of earlier prices. The big attraction for me in WSBN is its proximity to the Telfer processing operation.

If you look at any small cap explorer the massive downside of finding a worthwhile pile of ore is the finances needed to get it out of the ground and into a buyers arms. The cost of doing that often means that they have to give away the vast majority of their value to barter with a JV to make any money at all.

As we are within spitting distance of Telfer it would be foolish for Greatland not to get involved somehow and provide the massive infrastructure which we wont be able to finance.

So in short very exciting at the moment and if we find any sort of gold/cu/ag ore body we can look very pleased with ourselves and drill what we can afford to prove it up.

This might mean fund raising in years to come but the drills going at the moment may well be all we need for us all to send rockets on the website.

In the meantime GGP is still a very good bet on the ASX move and its only just getting organised with our hungry Aussie cousins wanting in on the action.

I don’t know what to make of it as that licence is on the edge where the basement level drops dramatically.

It’s been ramped so much will be good to have an impartial view on it.

They only issued an RNS on the 6th about drilling it one day after surrendering.
