The price of Plat and the Bond issue is keeping this low IMHO. I note the board have requested a further 1B shares to be available at the meeting later this month. I can only assume this could be used to cover the outstanding bond if they cant refinance. Not a huge amount of good news coming through. But, and this is only my take on this... we are the most mechanized Plat producer producing approx 350kper annum across the mines. The cost per oz produced inc stay in business investment is around $ 900.00 USD, that still means we are making approx $ 300.00 per oz produced or $105m per annum. With a market cap of $200m she is looking a little undervalued. Happy to have anyone point out any errors in my back of the fag packet equations... Oh and I like the fact the board are taking salaries in shares, they too are sharing our pain. I'll top up again later this week to bring the avg down. GLA

We will know where AQP are going tomorrow morning with the RNS thats due. Its all purely speculation until then.

There are a number of factors which make this a good buy in my opinion. Stable workforce, Board investing in the companies future, books tidied up with the last share issue, inching closer to profit, improved production. I believe the next set of figures will reveal considerably more about the direction of the company in terms of profitability... having said that would prefer the platinum prices to be closer to if not over $1500. I'll be checking back around mid October to see what the markets think the figures will be like. As for £'s rather than pence... I personally believe we will be heading in the right direction.

Figures from the last 1/4 were OK, overall figures for the year were pretty much about what was expected, this wont go anywhere until the market see's positive growth. They had a good tidy up of the finances earlier this year and IMHO the next set of accounts will give us all an indication as to the direction the co is going in. I like the confidence that the board has shown by taking part of their salaries in shares & they should know how well they are doing and the potential. It would be nice to see us back in the £'s rather than the pennies, but I cant see that for at least another year - maybe 2. I'm going to sit on these & wait.

Price of Plat on the up, strikes over, stockpiles must be low, employee relations / wages on even footing, low debt... a raft of good to positive news, yet we stick within +/- 15% of this price. Roll on the 26th July ( mostly as I am off on holiday ) as we will get some figures to mull over. Any estimations out there?
