We are very close to something big in my opinion, just look at the recent news flow. If the last RNS is to be taken literally, we will have been working at full capacity since the end of June. The Concentrator will have arrived giving us access to the finer particles of Gold in the 2.3million tons we own. PUNO sorted once and for all? Access to the higher grade underground ore within weeks. Lets just hope the board have managed to juggle our finances and secure funding whilst we ramp up production. We have within our capabilities to produce $ 3 - 4m worth of gold per month, it wouldn't take long for us to be a very profitable company. Still this is CRND and we really havent had much luck for the past few years... maybe our time has come? Who knows... other than our board. Not long now... DYOR

they do seem to have suffered from a considerable amount of bad luck. There is no escape currently, we are in it with them whether we like it or not. I just hope that the recent positive news will have a positive knock on effect with the share price when and if it starts trading again. I'd like to see a rekindling of the conversations with the various Chinese possible partners, but that may take some time. I do hope they have learnt their lesson and offer production data from the newly installed concentrator unit as soon as is practicable. We are not that far from learning the direction our company will proceed in... we have had enough good news to make me believe that it will be a positive one. As always DYOR.

Chartist2, they have woken the resting giant, I had my head in the sand for too long with this share. I wont let it slide by from now on. I still dont think there was much they could do with PUNO hanging over their heads. As mentioned, there is a large shareholder who is happy ( or so it seems ) to lend us money, they must see value or the opportunity to pick up a mine with millions spent on infrastructure on the cheap. As to whether we were ever worth $ 150m is a moot point. As to whether we are worth $30 - 40m with the current access to the 2.3m tons... probably. If we can get and maintain access to the underground mines, then yes we are worth the higher figure if not more. But thats just my opinion.

Thank you for your reply Simon, I am looking forward to news on where our company is heading. I trust that with the recent positive news that our shares, once the suspension has been lifted, will reflect this and we can return to a valuation that reflects our true worth. One thing that does concern me though is the last few sentences. Whilst my request for an update on a day to / month on month maybe a little difficult to manage and be outside the companies legal / market requirements, no production information for over a year, especially during a difficult time, leads to a general aura of suspicion and negativity surrounding our share price. I trust moving forward that timely updates will be provided by the board to ensure that we as shareholders can ensure our investments are correctly placed. Best regards Simon

Sorry Clive, dont see it that way. I hope its not wishful thinking, but our business was stuffed until PUNO was resolved, on its proverbial arse until the concentrator unit was ordered / delivered. We have tens of millions of equipment insitu most of which paid for by us PI's, a well informed investor / supplier, 2.3m tonnes of ore to process and the water level is dropping. We are not in debt if the previous figures are to be believed.The plus sized lady isnt singing in my opinion, in fact quite the opposite. Still we will all know soon. I'm still at $30 - 40m valuation currently and if the water drops even more - $ 80 - 100m. But hey, thats just my opinion.

Good morning Simon, I appreciate you must be busy at Central Rand, but we still do not have any Gold production figures. If it were 3 – 6 months’ worth of figures, perhaps I, as a shareholder, could understand, however It has now been 13 months since our last update. Nothing from the tolling agreement, nothing to say how our company is performing and our shares are still suspended. Whilst I appreciate the loans made by our Chinese supplier to help us through our current position, they must know more than ordinary shareholders to have lent the amounts of money involved. We also have the delayed year-end figures to contend with. All in all, this is a most unsatisfactory position to be in. As I mentioned in my previous email, we have received some very positive news recently, but this is still being tarnished by the lack of Gold production details. We as shareholders have a right to know the reasonable day to day / month to month production figures from our company. As our chairman, I implore you to release these figures so we can make some educated decisions on our investments, when and if our shares are traded again. Best regards Simon

Didnt take it the wrong way, just wanted your thoughts on this. IMHO we are at a crossroads with this company, we have all the tools to make a great deal of money, which lets face it is what we all want from this share. I believe one of the remaining hurdles for the sale to the Chinese was PUNO. This is now settled legally, leaving the door open to renewed interest. As to whether we will get the $150m offer again, I am not sure, but we are in it now, its a waiting game. Ive been here for a few years, averaged down and down and down so that anything over $15m would bring me to my BEP. Good luck... DYOR

I've been asking the GPT question for as long as I can remember, the accounts would have shown this but as they are now delayed, it looks like we will need to show some more patience. Whatever your thoughts on PUNO, we are in a considerably better place than we would be without the judgement. This will be wrapped up by xmas in my opinion. Fasten your seatbelt and enjoy the ride. I'm just happy that I have a glimmer of hope that I may get some of my money back.

Not certain I agree with that comment. Water level too high and PUNO hanging over our heads... one is sorted the other being sorted... I can imagine how difficult it must have been to negotiate from such a position of weekbess.

No cute deals, everything at arms length. Our Chinese supplier lending us $1.5m, full capacity at the end of this month, Concentrator unit arrival imminent. Water dropping nicely. I'm not happy with the delay, blood pressure a bit high, but its all pointing generally in the right direction. Just for a bit of fun, I have a feeling we are going to be bought for around $30 - 40m.. (I'd love to see that figure nearer or over $100m but I think that really is a pipe dream ) but thats just me, and thats Cheap for the assets we have in my opinion, we just don't have the money to moneterise it! Hello Simon, Excellent news on PUNO and the last tranche of the loan and the full capacity production note by the end of June, I look forward to the markets response once the trading resumes. However, once again the RNS alludes to the Gold production but gives the shareholders of CRND nothing in terms of the actual amount produced. It has now been over 1 year from the last update on the actual production quantities. Whilst I appreciate that the recent RNS’s have been extremely positive for Central Rand, they do not take away from the fact that Gold production information has been woeful. I respectfully request the Gold production figures for the past 1 year within a reasonable timeframe of say, 1 week. These details are known within the company and for them not to have been shared with the majority of the shareholders has in my opinion materially affected the share price of our business. Sorry - missed the materially dilutive share placing... bit of a sting in the otherwise good news tail! I'm just grateful that seem to be well on the road to recovery...

Am I the only one jumping around after the latest RNS?... PUNO sorted & they owe us $5m. Concentrator unit on its way. Balance of loan received. R6m in the bank and R6m debtors and R10m creditors... including the concentrator unit. Thats still a positive R2m. Treating 500 tons per day... thats 720 grams per day if you take the 1.8g per ton and subtract 20% for fluctuation... based on current price of say $40,000 per kilo thats $ 29,000 per day in revenue or $ 7.5m per annum based on 261 working days per year. Come on, we must be worth at least $20m - $30m even with the additional percentage the locals will own in 2018. Thats about $ 10cents per share / £0.075. Whats not to like about this? Exciting times ahead... As always DYOR

We've had another 2 metre drop - 30cms per day. At this rate we will have access to higher grade ore by the end of July.

2,300,000 tons of ore at 1.8 grams per ton = 41,000 kilos or $1.6b. Running at 40,000 tons of ore per month or just under 5 years to turn CRND into a billion dollar business. These figures are based on 66% running capacity and a mid range recovery. It wouldnt take much to turn that into $2b with a marginally higher recovery rate. Then we add in the underground ore... upto 5 grams per ton. Come on CRND, make the LTH's patience worth its weight in GOLD.
