If you were mooky, the best option for him right now would be for Cineworld to go into administration. The guy is a multi millionaire - financially speaking, he's done very well out of it over the years. If he still has ambitions to manage and grow a cinema chain, he could quite easily club together with some of his close circle and buy some or all of the company's assets from the administrators for a bargain price and continue the company under private ownership. And there'd be nothing stopping him trying again in a few years time to get the company listed - the company would be rid of all it's former debt as legally speaking it'd be a brand new company unconnected to the former Cineworld plc. If he learnt from his mistakes, who knows, maybe he would succeed next time. The issue for him if he was to do this is by putting Cineworld in administration, he'd cost the shareholders their investments - so any attempt to launch another PLC would not be so eagerly supported by the investor community, many investors would be harbouring a lot of bad sentiment towards him and would not support him in any future venture. Whatever happens, unfortunately I don't see any future for Cineworld PLC as we know it. I think the most likely outcome will be the possibility of a few more days trading, followed by suspension, administration and delisting. Part of me suspects though we'll see a phoenix rise from the ashes, a new privately owned cinema chain, possibly still under the Cineworld name, and quite possibly Mooky and co will be involved in it. Unfortunately none of this would matter to the shareholders though as they'd be left with nothing.
