At the end of the day, there is nothing wrong with owning explorers as long as we understand that it’s a gamble, not an investment. 1 in a 1000 succeed and it’s a very long and very costly process. If we had the assays, we would be better placed to discuss the future, but without assays, this is just a roulette wheel spinning. Don’t listen to rampers or derampers that share no knowledge. Only buy shares in explorers with money you are prepared to lose. But…if assays are very good, then the uptick on the share price can be very very rewarding!! Problem here is the board have been messing us around for way too long.

I can use AI too…copy and pasted below, but before that ask yourselves why would a mining company waste money on building a pure dirt/gravel road if they’re planning on long term usage and haulage. It will be a “mining road” (at least a decent company would).

We know what’s happening but we never know what’s coming…things can change in a blink of an eye. Just make sure you keep a level head as anything goes.

I like to use EUA as an example, some of the highest grades ever in the world and a massive 20m+ ounce mine. Lots of people made money early doors, others are still stuck, coz as soon as Russia got sanctioned after Ukraine, the project is now down in the dumps. Always be vigilant.

So a minimum of x10 (30mAUD) like I said and if that’s if everything goes to plan…it deffo won’t be a straight line either with all the dunes and hills. I think GGP for 50km is estimated around 100m so be careful 🤷‍♂️ Like I said, watch out for rampers. They’re dangerous.

On a side note, people need to be less defensive of their investments. The more factual info we have, from anyone, the more educated we’ll be about our investments, the more chance we all have collectively to make the right decisions.

Yeah but they spent 800k which is 0.001% of Agnico mcap. They don’t buy for a quick turnaround. They probably didn’t even care about current valuation. They just wanted part of the company for the future.

So an investment of 0.001% of their mcap. Hardly an endorsement. I’ll stick with overvalued. More of a strategic foothold in the region if things perk up I reckon. Agnico had links to Anza too so could be OMI buyers in future 👍

Yeah, I’ve looked at them before Doc. They’re a great comparison but they are currently clearly overvalued. If we can get the same bulk of investors here, we could get a similar “valuation”.

Their projects look way more complicated though. Not much gold in places and such a wide range of metals. Will be hard to build any kind of processing plant that can handle all those different minerals. Their AISC is likely to be costly. Don’t know anything about the team but past performance is always a good thing. I would be avoiding investing in them, OMI assays are way better in terms of specific minerals.

GGP should not be used as an example. When it hit 38p it was overvalued by around 20 bags. That was called the Covid bubble and most companies during that period became way overvalued. You only need to look at most companies charts to see a lot of them hit their highs in 2020 and those prices have never been seen again, including OMI’s 38p.

The tweet states the companies can increase production in the next 3-5 years so I presumed he used that, but if he’s talking 10 then that’s fine.

Using anything from 3000-6000 dollars an ounce, OMI would still need to be producing at least 300,000 ounces a year. You only have to compare mcaps and yearly ounces produced of other mid-cap miners in the world to see. OMI have a long long way to go and a lot of work to get to those production numbers.

I’m personally looking forward to the 30,000 ounces which should be on track within the next two years, then I’ll reassess the rest. That should be OMI’s target right now. To bring some cash flow in as soon as possible. That attracts more investors and even maybe some more institutions.

Caveat: Markets are sometimes crazy so if we get a strong shareholder following and pick up some good tailwind, a 10 bagger is possible, but we’d be overvalued at that point. (But it does happen…often). But 75 bags in 3-5 years…never!

Haha let’s maybe leave the Durrett talk for now. I like OMI but It’s a very strange prediction by him. He has OMI at 32c (US) which equates to around 24p (UK). At 24p we have an mcap of around £90-100m. His 75 bag prediction from the 32c equals a nearly £7bn mcap 🤣

That’s like a minimum of 10 years away if ever. I can see maybe 5 bags max in the next 3 years (if everything goes to plan, which we know it doesn’t). I’d be elated with the 5 bags and I’d be out when we get there 👍
