Yeh mate I know we have all been there, remember with the volumes and trade there will be multiple people all trying to do the same thing at the same time and may have quotes before you, sometimes it really is the quickest at the buzzer, I was desperately trying to get 312 on the dip this afternoon kept hammering both quote and exchange, nothing! no chance of buying at it. I find IG is very good for me. If IIS are also all over this then we are below them in the food chain to unfortunately. Profit is profit though! Well done, enjoy the weekend!

Spurs777 so this down to a few reasons, who is your broker and do they have direct market access? There was to many orders in the book already so they get filled first. Phoning your broker does work on these occasions. Sometimes it is best when you see this to sell when it goes into auction or take a price slightly lower, sometimes you just have no chance unfortunately.

Look at all the delayed buys now, can go through and see them at the time and where they sit.

Seen it all before mind, one day NCYT when I was actually in dropped from 120 all the way down to 60...next morning opened at 80 (on no news or anything) then was over 110 by the afternoon again....the rest of the story we all know.

They dropped it on close but then allowed no quotes online to buy any shares
