Had a very busy day yesterday and have only just got chance to catch up.
Firstly, thanks Botski for audio. Much appreciated.
Well I have read posts and listened to audio of AGM and boy am I glad I invested in Sclp.
For many year I’ve been accumulating at various SP levels, supported the company on raising cash and have an average quite a bit lower than todays SP.
I think anyone can see that SCLP was and is an excellent little bio company. RG can now retire knowing his hard work will pay off and is in safe hands. LD will, I’m sure in time, be recognised for the incredible work she has done in the sector as Sclp evolves into something special
Anyway I’ll be holding strong until little Sclp has an SP worthy of its IP and I’ve made a few quid or ten!

The waiting is soooo uncomfortable. I'm back in the Uk and watching but some news from Lindy would be very welcome. I'm sure the lack of proactive interview leaves many of us thinking what could be happening behind the scenes. Not long now until the AGM so maybe we will hear some more positive news from SCLP shortly.
Holding strong!.

Roses.
The strategy here has been buy and hold for some time. Sclp doesn’t leak news IMO (traders have had their fun here) and news flow is going to be constant for here on in.
Modi is ground breaking and with data coming in and the SP is likely to be multiple of our current 19p in the not too distant future.
LTHs will see and understand some of the carp that is bound to spouted here by some in vein attempts to get PIs to cash in their cheap chips. The more astute know better though.
I’ve been invested in Sclp for years now. So I’m wait for more data, data, data and not a trader telling me his imaginary indicators are telling us all to sell.
Anyway, I have enjoyed my journey on the VSOE from Victoria Station to Venice and I’m now relaxing at the Cipriani Hotel Venice anticipating more news next week.
I think we could see a nice build up of anticipation to the AGM. Looking forward to watching.

AB. This isn’t going to be kept quiet for long. Look at the last RNS. This is real for people on the trial. I absolutely support Trish and everything she has said. And I’m happy people are finding these comments on the internet. Question is why aren’t you? ATB
No it’s a proper post. Look at the facts. Good old Sclp isn’t a scam has never been a scam and LTHs are about to see something very very special. Loz if only you hadn’t brought logs this year and had invested in Sclp shares instead. Well done Trish. Really pleased for you. It’s 34 degrees on the south terrace and the old man is burning up. It’s called egg on one’s face. ATB.

I’m afraid the answer is complex.
But there are three things to consider.
First, I agree that product progression will drive value. And obviously it will cost lots to see all Sclp products to full approval to achieve roll out and thus cash generation. And of course time. I.e how long would Sclp want to wait?
The second, and I actually think the most important, and something I think only very few people understand (not me for clarity), is how novel / valuable the products are. This of course is very, very subjective until point 1 above is proved. As a point for the record this is why I invested. It’s why I have brought consistently over many years. It’s why I’ve held. It’s why I have always seen Sclp as a longer term investment. It has been suggested to me that modi works and will prove itself. But we may now be seeing this proof. (It’s been why many on here have had Friday night fights).
The third point is the most complex. If the value of Sclp’s IP starts to be proven you must look at the company, the potential buyer and the shareholding. Take each one in turn. The company isn’t a biotech company wishing to take products through the clinic and commercialise them. It’s a research company. And it’s primarily based around LD. Whom has just retired from NU. I think the clue here is clear. Sclp will sell its IP if the price is right. Next the buyer. The buyer (they could be gearing up now and there may be several suitors) will have to take the products forward. And it will cost lots. But remember the products are novel and look very much like they are valuable and in all probability work very well. So their appetite will be very important. Finally we must understand owners. Redmile, vulpus and BOD will agree an ‘offer’ and in all probability us PIs will take what’s offered as it’s likely to be very attractive. Why because BOD will want out IMO (RG has already said bye) and LD isn’t going to sell Modi fully working to NHS and the rest of the world in ten years time!
So, I said it was complex, but for what it’s worth multiple of current SP to be ‘attractive’ and it may be quicker than some think / believe. 10/ 20/30 times current SP. Everyone will have a different view of course. But a better question is what would you accept?
Now. Happy to be ‘shot’ at!

WTP.
Here is my two pence worth.
I think the timing of recent news is unfortunate.
For example. It’s clear calculus need to sell out 100%. Not really sure why but we know they are selling and still had tens of millions of shares. MMS need / want shares but do not probably fully understand what’s happening inside Sclp.
Doesn’t everyone think that most things happening now from Sclp seem to be kept more water tight?
Whereas before certain individuals (I could name them but can’t be bothered) seemed to know what news was coming?
In other words things have changed for Sclp, mms and potential players in the market.
As such if mms knew they were going to pick up several million shares from calculus and just needed to suppress the SP in the hope they could buy lots then spring SP later why wouldn’t they?
Yes I think the SP should be north of 50p. I’ve said so for a while. I do however, suspect that things are about to happen which will make the mm games of a tiny bio on AIM almost impossible to control. That is of course oops we have cured cancer and someone now wants to buy us out for £x m/b.
I’m afraid I’m with inanaco. It’s simply how many you hold when this news hits. Doesn’t matter if you have an average of 10p or 60p or indeed claim you have a bucket full of freebies. In the end it’s what you own and what the sp is when we PIs get taken out.
I feel for Calculus because I doubt very much they predicted or expected this current position. But they are doing what they are doing irrespective of what Sclp now do. They did matter at one point to Sclp but they don’t now. So a great opportunity for someone to buy lots though quickly.
As I genuinely believe we are about to see this play out very very soon. I’m holding (as always). But I think most experienced investors can probably see something very interesting is happening right now.

I’m just off to Italy Wednesday and but hope to come to London when I get back. I think this is company is about to move it’s SP very significantly and it will be good to catch up with some LTHs finally. You never know SK may pop his head into AGM. ATB.
“From raising capital to structuring mergers and acquisitions, and beyond, Stifel helps companies, organizations, and municipalities navigate complex financial issues.”
Now why would Sclp need that type of financial help?
