I completely agree with your point, and it is possible with the reduced amount of shares, we could see a higher SP than (as you say) £9 but, banking stocks are cyclical, and they adhere to environmental issues and will inevitably crash during our next crisis.
I guess my clumsy point was, do I take my healthy profits now, and look to re-invest when the next climate impact has on these type of stocks.
I started to buy handsomely here during the pandemic (I didn't catch the bottom) but I was in at £3.50 onwards as I wanted to load up primarily for a dividend income, but dividend income pales in comparison by my current profit %.
I'm a relative lowly investor, and I haven't got the brass cajones to toy with my profit.
Actually, I think I've just answered my own question....
