Fordm,
Yep - those pesky Analysts are immensely fickle.
All of their notes should be taken with a big pinch of salt.
Please take that report seriousyl...

I don't know why I bother buying shares.
I've clearly ticked off the share Gods...
I'm not a high roller...
I'm back in. Only £5k.
20% rise and then I'm back out..
Flipping eck, MJC!
You have spent around £51k on this stock!
Do you hold that in an ISA? The tax now on dividends has dropped and next year will drop again.
Investing in dividend shares is becoming pointless untless you hold them in an ISA, and if you're only above the dividend tax threshold you think have to think wisely about which avenue you choose.

Good luck everyone.
I sold out today. I've long been invested in CSH, and I have enjoyed the dividends and I've walked away with a tidy profit as my average was just under 60p.
I wish you all well, and ask that you think wisely whether you decide to hold to the end or sell in advance.
All the best.

Thanks, SD235,
I've checked the company site and it doesn't stipulate, which I can only presume as the information isn't confirmed as of yet, as the deal hasn't been confirmed, as of yet.

Ok, Matt.
I must admit, I make far more mistakes when trading so I'll completely concede that I could well be wrong.
I have noted there seems to be a large amount of sells, with not too many buys.
I'm wondering whether the SP will just hold at 80p, as if so, I may wait until the ex dividend date, and then sell out.
Ho hum. I am sure whatever I decide to do I'll get it wrong....
Story of my investing life.
Hi, Matt,
I know from previous occasions with mergers / takeovers, I've previously received the option to have the cash and or shares in the new company.
However, that may not be the scenario in this case but we will have to see.
All the best.
Morning, Ken,
I partly agree but the offer is still below the NAV, and sentiment / buying pressure / potentially owning shares in CK, which is a billion dollar company, may go a long way.
But yes, let's see how it reacts today.
All the best.
CK Asset is going to buy CSH. That isn't in any doubt, so what happens then?
If your trading account allows you to hold shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange then it could be worth you continuing to hold but for many, when is the appropriate time to sell?
Someone commented on the regular dividend payment being taken from us, but CK Asset Holding pay a quarterly dividend so if you can hold, you still could...
Their dividend, which is admittedly less than ours, is shy of 5%.
I sold a quarter of my holding yesterday at 80p. I have a 60p average, and I'm going to see if the share price ticks up a bit today, and if she does, I'll continue to off load my holding.
Good luck all.
Good morning (afternoon) Tomski,
I think it's a very safe bet to say the results are going to be good, but whether the share price reflects that today, with their financial constraint, I'm not sure.
We all want the Sp to rise but the market hasn't offered any real anticipation on the run up to today, and I think that's quite telling.
That said; it's not 7am yet (our time, and not yours....) So let's wait for the Rns to drop....
Drum roll please....
I thought my 60p share price average was quite achievable to reach, but we seem to teeter between 53-57p.
I'm sure it's done to solely annoy me...
Fordm,
I must admit, I am slightly concerned, as I truly through there would be some elevation with the SP during the last week or two of the run up to Q1 results.
We have a good idea that flight sales will have increased, obviously pushing revenue up, but the market doesn't seem to want to preempt that at the moment.
Oh well. I've come this far....
Good evening.

I do hope so, Skindle.
I'm fairly sure during the lead up to the last quarterly results, the SP lifted quite quickly (obviously in anticipation and early news of strong results).
I believe the financials are going to be as good, if not slightly better, than last year, but this time we don't seem to have that same rally / impetus.
If the results are strong, and if we don't get that rally, and if we don't increase much after the results are due, then I'm going to take my small profit and completely sell out.
I think the time has come in my life to open a Post Office account and reinvest in Premium Bonds.....
Have a lovely weekend all.
