I bought in at 7p (old money) doubled my investment, and then sold my initial stake only.

I then doubled it again, sold half, and bought back in at £4.67 when it dropped.

I have since sold a load again.

Point being is, I am only playing with all free shares, but I rue my stupidity for ever selling from the outset, otherwise I would have (no pun intended) a pot of gold in my HL account.

Oh well. I've profited very well, so I cannot complain.

I bought back into GGP at £6 thinking I have made a perfectly timed execution, but then it drops to £5.

I've got a spare £1k (not a lot to some but a princely pot to me) and I am planning on buying again, to lower my average, as I like this company and see a great future, but its just a tad annoying when I thought my share trading prowess bought in at the perfecto time.

Nonetheless, its a very sunny day out there.

I'm already 2% which is a whopping £350.

Apologies, my poor sense of sarcasm was poorly executed.

I have sold. I sold my entire holding at around the £9.63 mark.

If I hadnt of sold, and held at today's mighty high, I would have made another £6k.

I genuinely didnt see the share price going above £10 (let alone where it is now!).

However, I did build my holding after COVID, and I made a handsome profit for me, so I can't complain, but congrats to everyone on here.

The share price has performed amazingly over the last year.

Man, am I glad I sold my entire holding (that I mainly bought at COVID levels) at £9.63.

Thank goodness I sold every share then, otherwise if I had held and sold now, I would have sadly made another £6k.

Phew, I really did have a lucky escape....

I bought in today (only a whipping £1200 worth) but I like what this company is doing and where it plans to position myself.

Its a shame I have bought in at the current share price but I am hoping at some poijt next year I'll be looking back and thanking my lucky stars I bought in when I did.

I was an investor of IAG during the pandemic and my average was £1.38. I sold out at the £2 mark, but I have just worked out how much I would have made if I had held until now, and it would just be over £50k. That is more money than I have ever seen.

I am sure its peanuts to some, but it (would have been) a pot of gold to me.

Nonetheless, I made a profit and then made a profit in a gold company afterwards.

To all those who had the cajones to have continually held since the £1 days, then I tip my hat to you.

I sold my entire holding at around the £9.60 mark. I made a handsome profit as I had steadily bought HSBC shares since COVID crashed the Sp, and I also recently welcome dividends too.

Since I sold, the Sp has cracked the £10 mark. Do I regret selling? No. I made some healthy money, which I have invested in a Fund elsewhere (and that Fund is sitting now at a loss.....) but it will come good as its a long term approach (plus it pays a monthly dividend).

Only God and Liars say the cal the bottom and top of any share price, but if you're happy with your profit, and you can use the money elsewhere, then enjoy it, my friend.

Money is only good for making memories, and that's why I used part of my sale for a new car and a surfing holiday.

This is a very different board to when I left it a few months back.

Some fairly unpleasant peeps but oh, this is the sign of the times.

Nonetheless, in spite of their drivel, I have bought back in. I always valued the fundamentals here but as stated, the Sp always drops after a consolidation.

I am considering selling my whole holding here.

I've been immensely lucky and made a few quid (around £17k) and I have picked up a few grand in dividends along the way.

HSBC has been a good share to me. I still have £25k invested but I have been slowly moving it all to a Fidelity Global Dividend Fund (dividends are paid monthly!).

I think for longer term I may get a better return on my money. I am hoping we may go back up tomorrow to the £9.70 area, and if we do, I'll be gone, but with a heavy heart as the regular dividend and share price increase has done me well.

Well, I was sorry to see yesterday's drop, and I still dont understand why (I've never been on for pointing the arrow and blaming MM manipulation) but for whatever reason, it happened, but it allowed me to buy back in after selling up a month or so back.

I knew they went to £3.30 ish, but I stuttered to buy them at that time. I just didn't realise they went lower.
