RE: £725K Buy4 Mar 2021 15:42
Castle - I'm still day trading shares beaten up by covid, but deffo looking to pick up positions on longer term holds.
This year I've taken positions in SGE @ an average including the div of £5.63. Got BAE @ £465.67. Have been buying GSK in tranches all the way down from £14 - £12, ( maybe not so clever, but am hoping to trade out some of them on a rise will keep a portion ). Been buying ULVR sub £40, and averaged down on my BP. holding picking up a chunk @ 2.63.
I looked at my watchlist here on this site and see I've got 68 shares on it !! lol, It needs tidying up - many I've now missed the boat, some I put on there, as they were favourites, of posters where I've disagreed in the past ( just checking on their "golden tickets" to see if their punts had credence ).
For me long term div buys:
ULVR / GSK @ today's prices
UU - 8.00 - 8.50
BP - sub 2.70 ( am already holding here - will add )
BAE sub 4.70 ( am already holding here - will add )
NG - circa 8.00 ( am already holding here - will add )
BBOX - sub 1.70 ( am already holding here - will add )
I like AGR - but have turned down 3 chances to get them at 72p in the last 3 months, will deffo get some next time round.
Hey what do I know lol - I have my first jab booked for Tues next week and I had to look up how to get there and it's only 9 miles away !!
No recommendation intended here, just some longer term adds I've picked up and some on my radar. Many will have other ideas and prob. do much better than me. Also I'm 61 now and don't need my money back any time soon, so if my buys look wrong now, in 6 months, or even in a year's time, hopefully sometime this decade they'll look ok, in the meantime I'll take the Div's.
