crl123 - sorry to hear you are down on this one.
the market has been brutal to many companies over the lat 6 months, on many trading updates, take BAB for example last week so anything could happen.
There had been a considerable increase in trading volumes a these levels i followed Volcano on Friday, and banked a 3% profit, on the day, though i think he sells out completely i took back my buy in costs and added a few more to my free carry. will look to add again this week, as the sp does fluctuate each trading day.
Short tracker still doesn't show any major reported shorts save for the 0.7% for Merian, though there may be some under the reporting requirements.
i recall the challenging times on TLW, when a poster called Mortgage Free disagreed with me, during the summer of 2017. He was recommending dumping TLW and getting into HOC, and early doors he seemed to have called it right. i decided, to double up (twice ) on TLW, which looked risky i guess. But for me that proved to be the correct call. But again i was able to hold for the medium term.
There are jitters here, and we are still in the growth stages for both the Aviation and Energy divisions, with more cap ex expected.
The recent falls have taken STOB into the relegation zone, for the FTSE 250 and is likely to be demoted, without a major uplift in the sp in the up and coming days, which may have had an additional influence.
Never a dull moment with STOB, though i do feel there are many sitting on the sidelines, waiting for the results, for a possible low buy in. Be interesting to see how this plays out over this and coming weeks.
