Sundancer - whilst it's in this trading range i'll continue buying, at sub 1.05 and close the trade at a 3p + rise.

Adding the top sliced shares, to my long term holding. i've picked up many more new free shares, in June than i genuinely really expected, was possible, and am delighted. i followed Volcano's lead here. i accept trading is not for everyone, and i'm not recommending it, in any way.

I sold my last trade at 1.08 - expecting the sp to drop ex div. as it turned out Thursday was a strong day for most shares and it actually rose. However the ex div dip came on Friday.

i'll be looking for another trade next week.

regrettably, we are stuck with Moniman, ( if the sp rose to 1.50 - then dropped to 1.45 the next day he would be on here with a post lol ).

Don't forget his post last week - all holders of STOB are clowns ! I'm a very happy clown btw, picking up free shares along the way.

he'll never buy here, he has his agenda, based on his calamitous FLYB miscalculation. i imagine him checking the STOB sp, 10/20 times a day, with any small rise, eating him up, praying for a dip, to put out a post.

Am guessing the mid afternoon BSP rise at 11% ATM, is down to the breaking news on sky media.

Sky reports Andrew Rennie is the frontrunner to succeed David Wild, - nothing from DOM on the breaking news.

Exetrchief - I had noticed you and stopped posting on DTG, from the 2nd May.

But the point i'm making remains. From back in Jan when the Connect offer For FLYB was made public you went out of your way to debase Warwick Brady and the STOB bod on the FLYB bb.

Then in Apl you decided to increase your attack on STOB here on this bb, your previous posts are available for all to read. I particularly remember with much amusement your comment in your post on the 4th April, where you described Southend as a "backwater regional airport " !!

1.5M passengers, last year, would suggest many disagree with you lol.

At no time did I stoop to your level through Jan - May, by coming into the DTG, to disrupt a share where you had posted you had a holding.

I welcome all posts here on the STOB bb, and on any bb, ( detailing both pros and cons ), but your posts are based on an agenda. You know that - I know that.

We agree on the strength of EZJ and RYA in the market, with both airlines planning circa 1M passengers for this year out of Southend. Indeed RYA under the 5 year agreement, have based planes at Southend, as it understands the pressure and constraints, in expansion, in the other London airports, particularly during the peak summer period, including its base at Stansted. An important endorsement for the Southend Airport growth story in my view.

Have just sold my trade from 17/06 buy in at 1.04.

Sold and top sliced at 1.08 + this morning adding the profit as retained free shares into my long term STOB shareholding.

Yes I've given up the 3p div on these traded shares, but I picked up a 4p return.

The sp may rise higher today, as people buy in for the div. I'll be looking to buy in yet again when it goes ex div, on a possible dip.

There is every possibility that the sp will hold its value ex div, but I'll take today's profit into free shares and look to get back in for additional trades asap.

Got to love the opportunities offered here in this trading range atm.

Exetrchief - checked in this morning to see your latest post.

Despite being aware that unite as part of its pay bargaining negotiations at many uk airports and in most other sectors has used industrial action, you decide to focus on one small area as it suits your purpose, does it not.

Those who know you on this bb, are aware of your love for DTG, where at the moment in 3 of the airports, where it has flights scheduled industrial action is ongoing or planned. Do you see me popping over to the DTG bb looking to disrupt, posting about the issues at Glasgow, of course not., as i have no issues with DTG nor its BOD nor is shareholders.

You on the other hand are still hurting for your losses in FLYB and look fior any opportunity, to disrupt here, my friend.

Btw as to turnover of staff at Stansted - a quick look on the STOB website, confirms only one vacancy in its aviation sector, for a compliance officer. So no massive employee turnover. More fake news.

Someday hopefully you'll get over your losses.

They just don't like it up em - quoting Mr Jones from dads army. we've had previous with Exetrchief, since the Connect T/O.

It's a pity he didn't suggest a look through the actual Unite website :
- Heathrow strike planned for 5 days from the 22nd June delayed whilst their members consider the latest offer on working patterns.
- Aberdeen planned dates for industrial action over pay claim and closing of the defined benefits pension scheme.
- Glasgow - details of further industrial action planned for 21st June as part of their ongoing dispute.
- Stansted - as previously offered by Exetrchief
- Luton - details of the 49 day industrial action which commenced 5th June.

Nothing planned atm at little old Southend Airport, btw.

A read through the the Unite website would leave one believing no planes would be flying in and out of many uk airports.

Yet somehow the planes fly !

You clearly despise Warwick Brady, and when I dismantled your latest two posts you come back with insults.

The structure of the SAIP, is available for all to read. Warwick Brady is totally aligned with shareholder interests.

You are just getting stroppy as I've embarrassed you with facts on the matter.

So it's your response is to resort to insults, hey ho.

as you say you are not interested in Mr Brady's / STOB's business p!an, and on the back of that unlikely to ever buy in to the STOB growth story.

One has to question why you are here lol - I think most fair minded individuals will be able to draw their conclusions.

Whilst the sp is at this range i'll continue trading and topping up my free carry shares.

As the airport continues to expand its passenger no's over the coming months and years, revenue will flow into the bottom line. as will the income from the energy division.

Monty - I guess we'll have to live with the attempts from the likes of Moniman and Exetrchief, ( there are a few others ) who lost money on FLYB, who post to disrupt here on the STOB bb.

I made some money on a quick in and out trade over on FLYB, but the rampers over there actually started to believe their own ramps, despite 3 years of grim financial rns. I read the bb daily, and when reality struck home a number of them suggested it would be a good idea to pop over here and try to cause as much disruption as possible.

All I do is reply to their posts for balance.

Any suggestion that Warwick Brady is not completely aligned with pi's in a desire to see STOB succeed is at best a joke or in reality a lie.

It's worth reading the annuals on the website ( page 59 onwards ).

His SAIP not only depends on him working his socks off to achieve on targets set, but in addition over the coming months and years he has to build up a shareholding with a value in excess of 200% of his annual salary.

He wants STOB to succeed, and has to buy in on its growth road, as his SAIP is dependent on this.

Anyone with half a brain should be able to understand how aligned he is with shareholders interests.

Oh sorry - that'll be everyone except Exetrchief - doh...

If you had any idea of how Warwick Brady's SAIP is structured you'd understand how foolish your latest post is and how much it demonstrates your agenda here, my friend. Also it shows your lack of understanding, of the position, similar to that you demonstrated over on FLYB

You may have read media coverage on the SAIP

In order for Warwick Brady achieve delivery,under the SAIP- Stob have to achieve :
1) passenger number growth targets
2) then sell the airport
any potential future incentive payment toWarwick Brady under this scheme would be 50 / 50 cash / shares, with the shares being required to be held for 1 / 2 years.

However as part of the incentive package Warwick Brady must purchase and build up and maintain from his income, a shareholding in STOB set at 200% (in value terms ) of his annual salary.

He's up to 229705 shares atm and has a substantial amount more to buy over coming months and years at today's sp. But he's regularly buying in and demonstrating his commitment to the STOB growth story.

So in effect Warwick Brady has to either buy truck loads more shares at today's price,or continue to develop the airport, and expand passenger numbers as laid out in the website under future plans.

As such he is completely aligned with shareholders in a desire to increase shareholder value. long sigh......

Your previous attempts at disruption proved hot air and bluster did they not, very embarrassing for you. This has been your worst effort to date, but please by all means keep on trying buddy, and i'll keep replying to your dismal attempts to disrupt.

For newer readers of this bb ,Exetrchief is another ex FLYB shareholder.

Ref your post:
- STOB are meeting the union rep on Thursday, as Mr Barter well knows. this is pre meeting saber rattling by the unions, ( standard practice ).
- I noticed you failed to mention in your post, that this relates to the staff employed at Stansted airport, not Southend Airport, I wonder why that would be lol.
- EZJ have stated If industrial action is confirmed they have contingency plans in place so that there would be no impact on their passengers.
- Goodness me Exetrchief - if every union gambit, were reported on every potential pay rise discussion, then these bb's would be inundated,would they not ?

May I ask you decided to ignore or omit the Unite Union Strike action planned for the last 10 days of June, at both Glasgow and Aberdeen airports. Could that be that such action just does not fit your agenda as it has no impact on little old Southend Airport lol.

Monty - yes I retired 4 years ago, so am lucky to be able to track the sp.

I don't trade regularly, but finding 3p + in this range is usually an option. If not on the day, within a day or two.

I have been fortunate with STOB, buying in initially I. The spring of 2016 - then fully top slicing for a free carry by aug 2016, retaining roughly 45% of my original buy in.

Monty- i picked up a chunk yesterday, and will top slice again on anything over a 3p rise. Done this 5 times in the last few weeks whilst the sp has been at these levels. Took the lead from Volcano, who often posts here.

I'm hoping for an opportunity ex div, and have funds ready.

My strategy here has always been to top slice, and grow my holding for the long term.

The Aviation sector, has been challenging, he could have spent his time on the EZJ, TUI, RYA and TCG bb's, but no he kindly invests his time with us here at STOB. We all know why.

moniman - yet again you fail to read my post today, where i indicated that i am anticipating a further buying opportunity, on the ex div.

Since the annual results, trading volumes have increased substantially, with positions being taken.

It matters not where the sp goes you'll never buy. you have already demonstrated that. How could you possibly explain a buy in here to those you misled on the FLYB bb.

Every bb seems to have a resident troll, with an axe to grind, and we are fortunate to have you lol.

You appear on any dip but never post when the sp is up on a days trading.

Compass - the way I read the report is that Warwick Brady's bonus is based on :

1) achieving a set increase in passenger numbers over the coming years.

2) Then achieving a sale of the airport.

It's still early stages here, the £50m funds from the bond are to be spent on further developments in the infrastructure at Southend Airport , this year. A full breakdown of where the funds are to be allocated is provided on the Company website.

The figure mentioned at £2.1M is a potential future sale of the airport, which would provide Warwick Brady with the maximum bonus if passenger number targets are also achieved.

A sale at that level would represent close to a 5 bag on the present value of the sp purely on the future value of the Airport.

We are some way away from this point. However I read an article ( can't locate it again atm ) which stated that Southend is the only London airport, with the ability to expand into the peak summer season weeks, both in terms of flight numbers and passenger numbers. EZJ and RYA have worked this out, so the future looks rosy.

Bought a future chunk of shares here today at sub 1.04. Will trade on a rise or hold for the div.

I've held some money back to buy ex div, as I see another opportunity there too.

Tav - did you read the city a.m. media report on the legal decision. Tinker said he now felt it was time to move on.

He suggested he believed there was value in the company, and that he felt he was a responsible shareholder, though some might dispute that considering his actions.

Interestingly he indicated he said he had no plans to sell his stake kn the business, though he'll have to adhere to the previous decision by the judge to cover the % of STOB's legal costs in line with the previous judgement.

Seems to me Tinker has made several misjudgements in the last year or so, including his buy in to FLYB.

His STOB, shareholding is a valuable asset, providing him with a large div. Most normal people would wish to see also wish to see the value of the shares rise too. Though i accept Tinker's more recent decisions have appeared less than normal.
