stobart growth case31 May 2019 09:17
moniman - just read your post from late last evening, please accept my apology for the late reply as i don't generally spend time on these bb's late into the evening.
Before i put the case for the future STOB growth case i'll take the opportunity to remind this bb, everyone should make their own investment decisions based on the bull / bear views expressed here.
As you know we both had the buy in during the spring of 2016. i for one did at circa 1.00 the sp shot up on the back of the non core asset sale dividend returns to shareholders, which allowed me and probably many others to top slice for a free carry within 5 months, happy days.
You missed the boat and its bugged you for many many months my friend has it not ?
Your frustration and anger was further increased by your failure to read, and understand the challenges facing FLYB, investing heavily, and putting out crazy sp predictions stating in your view all pi's should hold and wait for a t/o at £1 !??
You called that one sooo wrong my friend. The Connect consortium, (30% STOB) invested in the business, with plans to create a financially secure airline. Your losses over there have clearly hurt you, but you need to look in the mirror and accept, you pressed the buy button, many like myself got in and out with a profit. you held and sold for a loss.
You have sat on the sidelines here and i am confident, you understood, that STOB rewarded shareholders through increased, divs, from the sale of non core assets, for just over two years. We are now back to the expected 6p pa div.
When the sp, dropped down to circa 102 prior to the recent results, you had the opportunity, to buy in close to you £1. but you didn't, did you? But you didn't, if you had you could have made roughly 30% in a couple days as the sp quickly rose to 130 did it not.
I bought three times, once at just under 115 , which you laughed in a post a few days later, however i closed out for about 11% profit on 129 +. i got two more trades in at sub 110 again top slicing on those trades too, to add to my free carry.
The fall in the sp, allowed many to take a position here at, a decent entry, you only have to look at the recent increased numbers of transactions, as evidence to confirm this.
As you didn't buy in at circa £1 despite months of posts here stating that was your buy in price, one can only assume you had no intention, to invest here, and are on this board purely to disrupt.
It's clear you ill never buy here, so we will have to accept you as our serial de ramper, hurting frustrated, angry and with axe to grind.
The recent dips have allowed me to add three more times to my free carry shares. whist you missed out on a possible 30% profit, this week did you not ??
I'm off to the gym, i'll post the growth plans as detailed in the rns this afternoon.
