bob6, Nice to bag another divi. As for selling the shares in the morning, no siree, its only 8 months to an even bigger pay out for the final. Thats like getting something like 3p a month till then. OK you will have to hold through sell in May but currently I plan too whilst looking for any dips to waste the divi reinvesting it back here. Can we start a movement for quarterly divi's? I think monthly might be a push too far but its supposed to be a steady utility so why not.

Looks like there is a bit of blackthorn in this hedge, best I watch out for the spikes. Hindsight says I should have waited, still you pays your money, you take the chance. Nothing wrong with penalties for lateness in projects as it focuses on the issue and time is literally money. Grayling, whats ST? Sunday Times? Not seen the article but its good for the tax payer if there is a cap on payment. Usually costs over run and can't be cancelled. Dawson_64, Its no secret that they wanted to push into convenience stores and Blockbuster stores was one (failed) option and Im sure there were others on the table. Im not sure if the Tesco/Booker deal will be allowed but stranger things have occurred and some soundings must have been made. So what else will be allowed to merge. Dont think Sainsbury can afford to buy MRW after the Argos deal so it begs the question of the new name. Morrisbury or Sainsson

Well for the full year anyway. They were more cagey about ongoing divi plans stating that they will update at a later date as normal. I suppose it give them more time to see how the figures pan out and for the new incumbents to sort out theie own plans going forward. A re based divi of half still see it 4.5% and as others have pointed out debt has been better time scaled which gives them more time too. As for Dido leaving, was it on the cards anyway. People seem happy with the Dixions chap, so some are happy. Price differential increasing between TT and BT so maybe more might move over after BT's price increase. SP moving further away from my limit order so decisions to make

Webbs, the market coming of its highs the last couple of weeks but this has been holding its own. Its up more than the FTSE 100 since my top up and ex divi in a couple of days to boot, so happy so far. So as long as it keeps churning out growing divis I'm not too concerned with the SP. Would be nice if it drops when I want to add another batch but no rush right now as eyes on other things.

on track for an increased divi. The share buyback "progresses" and will be finished by xmas. I dont feel better off from the buyback and aggrieved that the SP is being kept artificially high. I might be tempted to reinvest the divi back in here if it wasn't so high. So might sit on my hands, this seems to work well, until Sell in May or Trump Tweet or maybe Brexit concerns push that yield up. I also thought they planned to spend more on cap ex so where is the £100m or so going .... or is it just not coming. Oh well wait for the divi on the 17th March.
