No comments on this board and the stock hasn't moved in months and even with good earnings 1H-17 news, nothing...

So no one cares to venture a guess as to the share price estimate if the products in the pipeline gain approval?

Yes but did you notice the end of the presentation indicates a projected product launch in 2 - 4 years as maybe 1 or 2 products. and a third product in 4 - 7 years. So if each of these products has the capability to add $100 million in revenue then what value would that make the company and what would the share price estimate be? Can anyone chime in and at least run the figures on this?

I believe that there are several more pieces of good news expected this year, but I also believe that the SP will languish and remain flat until such a time that IND occurs or actual approved drugs are manufactured and marketed solely by Midatech and then you'll see some significant moves higher. This is likely at least one more year away as this pivotal clinical trial for DIPG must occur, then they must submit for an orphan drug approval and then manufacture and launch. All of this effort will take time and consume the remainder of this year and into next. Patience is warranted here, but prudent planning and execution should pay off in years to come. My 2 cents

Well I don't know if this new compound is acting alone with Midatech only providing the delivery system. It's even more complicated if you factor in that Midatech has an MTX111 program and is this Norvartis deal considered to be that new compound and solution. While I don't know much about the entire program I am extremely happy to see that a potential treatment is being developed for clinical trials and potentially saving many young lives from this deadly disease.

Well you're right I seen that from last Friday and follow on buying today on their market. However that price for their shares reflect double our own as this counts 2 common shares so the volume was even higher when you factor that in.

Perhaps nice to see, but as you stated nothing in the way of share price improvement. For a company that intends to build a 3 billion pound size in few years then this is trending very slow toward that goal. I will continue to buy at these very low depressed share price levels and hope for a good outcome and positive news next year. Progress is being made and I am certain that others know more than I about the possibilities here, but we've languished at these SP levels for nearly a year and no major breakout, but perhaps its coming. Someone is keen indeed and someone is buying this in large chunks and yet the price just sits that is okay as I am buying my shares as well.

Could it be the company buying its own shares back? Some large buyer stepping in?

Well nothing new or even news worthy appears from the annual meeting which started a couple of hours ago. No one has tweeted anything and there are no news releases, so one must assume that the votes were cast, and the motion on the table accepted. Really wish they would release something news worthy.

Well it's good to know, and hopefully the company is keeping him well informed. What should we expect from the annual meeting? Anyone think that they will make any announcements as part of the meeting or wait until all of the voting is complete and then make some announcements?

Well, well.....I just learned a very important fact about Midatech and it's financial backers. Mr. Neil Woodford of famed Woodford Investments is a backer and a substantial backer at that. He is very disciplined in his financial investments and to hold such a large position in Midatech provides a level of comfrort for me and my invesment here at 117p. Now that I know this I am much more relaxed for the simple reason that if this wasn't a valued investment then Neil Woodford would not have backed it. He has a reputation as a winner,. His reputation and credibility speak for themself, so all I have to say is that I am quite certain that this investment Midatech will pay dividends down the road as he's not a push-over when it comes to backing a company, so they'd better deliver. I am now very comfortable with my investment here and plan to add more at these levels. Of course his stake in midatech is public information and my post here is simply my opinion. I don't know I do kind of agree that the "disruptive technology" or GNP promise that was touted is slow going. However if the GNP was used to treat DIPG and its found to be effective and even cure the afflicted, well then that would be amazing. There was talk about updating there factory in Spain to prepare for the manufacturing demand, but this seem like a waste if the GNP didnt work out. Yes 305p was a pretty high entry point. I've been buying at lower entry points. Wonder how long this drought in good news will last? Need catalyst and need the share price at a respectable level before any serious analyst will promote this. What say others?

Can't wait to hear of some good news next week at the shareholders meeting, this may drift lower into the summer if we don't have some catalyst, some spark and/or a plan to aquire another revenue generating drug. Need to get that first tranche of loan funds into good use and get the share price back up to a respectable level. Either make an aqisition, or use the Tranche toward clinical trials for DIPG and submit the IND and get the cure out to the kids. So much opportunity here I am excited for the company, and at the same time its slow going. In the interim I just keep adding to my position, and hoping for good news. What say the rest of you chaps, anyone else watching here?

Finally reviewed the results out on thier homepage, while steady, nothing overly impressive regarding numbers. Good progress being made with the Childrens DIPG treatment, and lot's of talk about upcoming IND's but equally they wrote off some assets in the states and assume it was just an okay year for them. If they're looking to get support from the investment community then they will have to deliver more than just okay results to get more interests.

Annual Meeting in May is seeking votes for shareholder approval for "Stock Repurchase" I find that very interesting. I ask why would a company add that as a (Special Voting) agenda item if they didn't intend to excercize that right once approved. I think I might suspect in part what some of the 6 million loan could be used for. Very Interesting indeed....About time for a pint of heavy Stout and some fishing this afternoon before the rain starts tomorrow......Cheers

I am expecting not only full year update for 2016, but also investment guidance for 2017. This is a public traded company with revenues and guidance is needed for the investment community and share holders. In addition the company should report on sales of their lead products and let shareholders know the strength of sales and if sales milestones were met. This needs to be a thorough and informative update since they only provide it semi-annually.

Something, it's not going to take a loan out to let the funds sit idle in the bank. They have an itch to buy something that will accelerate growth, let's see how well they perform with that first tranche of cash. My bet is that whatever it is their after will be a done deal before the year end reporting and investor updates in April.

I don't know about the rest of you chaps, but I will be hoisting a pint of porter afterwork in celebration of the fine job and increased revenues generated by Dr. Phillips and team. Cheers mates.....

Volume is rising and price will follow if the share price can climb toward 300p tthis summer hen that will get the attention of some institutional type firms. Coverage is needed, you can't be the next Shire by living in the shadows. Get the share price up and get noticed. The US side is going bangers with large blocks being swooped up and gap up in pricing and volume. Some movement is going on after such dormant months need news now.
