Recent gains in SE. seem to be down to Canada, there is a lot of trading in this stock there and the AIM SP is just tracking the Venture in Toronto. SP went up 2p the other day here on a 14K sale, over in Canada stratic was trading at double average volume and a lot of big buys coming through. Clearly the share is not a BUY at this elevated price but the long term prospects for the SP look excellent here. Bowmore is coming up soon... that may be very material to the SP. Did a recalc on timing and I suspect announcement for Breagh may not be until mid June, 30 days for offer, bid evaluation, Legal... mid-Junish would guess. Patience needed... will be worth the wait I feel. BOL to all, IMHO/DYOR - Geo

All, said in my last post that I was a bit worried about Crawford, did some research and I have changed my view. Hamilton were always looking for a big return, for them, with traditional well technology it did not pay. I did a Geological review and checked out Fairfield, they state EnCore have a slice too [great geo expertise for subsurface there]... the result is I think Crawford looks good for a brownfield and will add-on to W.Don nicely... nice incremental production growth. Just posted on the EO. board some analysis... any thoughts?? I did the same analysis for SE. and came up with c. 33 million income from Breagh as a minimum. This would put SE. at more than 100m value and a sp at 36.8p with no premium.. stupid pricing at 15p region, less than 50% of value. I view the asset quality as very high with SE. and the more I look at them the more I like the potential for real long term value though Crawford scares me a bit... HOC found that one hard and I think I recall another operator having a go. Having said that the drilling technology has moved on so far it may be a sleeping giant. W don should yeild a cash-flow of about 50 million dollars a year to SE., if they can build a portfolio of assets of this type their growth potential looks excellent. Short term, I cant see lower than 30p being a fair value but I can see 3.5 times that three years down the road... its a shame I dont own more. Best of luck to all the faithful ... DYOR/IMHO.

Ged W & Steelwatch, looks like we are the only people in here??? Have been in Stratic long term based on W-Don and Breagh. I expect RNS in the near future on Breagh sale which if it goes ahead will have major SP impact. Sterling Resources [SLG-T] had big surge yesterday on "no-news" which looks like rumour circulating in Canada. EnCore are the other major component of the Breagh consortium along with Faroe and Dyas. I'm holding for topslice@25p+ which I believe to be close IMHO. with W-Don giving revenue c.70 million per year and a sale on Breagh Stratic will be transformed... wish I had more. DYOR. Long Term value here IMHO.

Near to sale of Breagh, significant inflow of cash, W.Don near to first oil, start of m&a activity in junior oil sector[venture/BG]... high potential upside imho.
