is good news here, with this rise on the back of just the W.Don RNS that went out today I see very +ive upside here, just depends on where your take point is. I hold bot UK & Canada, I am told there is a Cap Gains advantage in holding in Canada, also find the TSX less strangled by the MM's. - Geo

I cant see any news being Negative... only good due. SE. got 50mil for selling Breagh just weeks ago so money not an issue. Tryng to sell Longanesi [Italy] and Turkish gas fields.. either one will bring in big bucks... in short... NO DOWNSIDE major upside only. - Geo

Would not dismiss T-O, BUT there may be big news on Bowmore, or even Syria spud, also V Big SP movement... may be reason for halt - need to go back to TDW to find out where my stuff is at... others in play too. Back soon - Geo

IFR at ~7p on TSX-V... see how they look after 2:30pm when it opens, also SE was a bit cheaper there than in UK, got a few thou some days ago, 33c now 42c... and moving!!!! BOL - Geo

Not sure as to why trading stopped unless it an announcment re. Bowmore... there could be major news here any day. If its a T-O I cannot see it doing any harm. .... who knows what the SP offer would have to be, >35p for sure. - Geo

Find a link below, http://www.stockhouse.com/Bullboards/SymbolList.aspx?sv=1&s=IFR&t=LIST&f=1&l=25&c=0&r=0 The IFR [Venture Canada] are a lot more cautious about Bowmore, maybe they are worried that with only $ 10mil CAD in the bank it will all get used up on this well, they know that it needs to find or they will be a poorly little minnow with just their Arctic Gas interests a long way in the future - they look pretty good by the way - but the pipeline might take a few years. I sure hope for all those worried folks who are selling out of IFR in a panic that Bowmore turns out as good as it could be, they just can't get their SP out of that 10c / 6p range. Certainly SE. is doing real well having risen about 5p in the last couple of months but it may be getting too pricey for some folks to take a punt so we will have to wait and see what happens in a few weeks time, either way it looks to me like IFR might be a low cost way into this play, always some risk of course. Those guys on Investor Village [Oiljack et al] seem be to banging on about this link between Bowmore&Bugle, sure they are right next door but there cannot be any insider info knocking around on a BB.. course it is true that Art Mullholland of Oilexco tried to get the IFR 5% in Bowmore to reduce the well costs for poor old IFR, and they did find that 400' of pay over at Bugle??? It's all a bit confusing, but I reckon I will hold my SE. to see what happens, the future looks good for

Potential game changer here, Bowmore [named after celebrated single malt scotch] is about 2-3 weeks away from TD according to International Frontier Resources [10% stake retained, currently 11c on the Venture Exchange in Canada. IFR], Stratic have significant stake. The Canadian Boards [Stockhouse] are saying the Art Mullholland was trying to get the IFR 5% on offer for Oilexco to re-start their Bandwagon, RBS/Court declined his affadavit but Oilexco describe this as significant well... after all, they found the adjacent "Bugle" in the next block where they reported over 400' of pay-sand and took samples.... it would appear there may be possibilities here. Delighted with SE. performance post Breagh, I feel sure there is a lot more to come from Stratic. IMHO / DYOR..
