I am currently researching this share. not currently invested here. Have gone back thru a few pages of posts but would some kind soul help me out by advising what is the expected newsflow here? Is it essentially the FDA, and timescale unknown?

I would just point out that a 38% COS means a better than 6 in 10 chance of a duster. So perhaps the most significant word in all the speculation about the SP at end year is "if".

Yes, if you look at them in isolation that makes sense, but look at the wuder context. Who hurts the most from cheaper oil? Russia. Who benefits the most from cheaper oil? The US and West generally, a few shale producers hurting is way outbalanced by the boost to consumers. And the US has influence in the Kingdom, who will be worried about ISIS and about Iran's rapprochement. So they just might - I say, only might - be playing a geopolitical game here to teach Vlad a lesson . I'm not saying this is definitely what's happening, might be rubbish. But it seems quite a coincidence that after a fairly stable oil price for the last 6 years it suddenly fallsat this time, just when the US needs to pressure Russia. Who knows.

$50 is my guess. But i'm sure OPEC will be at least trying to prevent that, certainly at the next meeting, hopefully b4. 'cos unless they stop pumping, the price will just keep falling.

I got out @ 430p, bcos I needed to put money somewhere else. Cursed for missing the £6+ high. But I'll be keeping an eye here, sure I'll b back one day. Great yield.

At last a post which makes some serious points rather than just wishful thinking and banality, which seems to be the norm not only on MML but most other stocks threads also. I too came in at c. £2.90, and wish I'd done better research! But it scarcely seems worth getting out now, so I'm holding on in the hope of recovery in the medium term, tho' I know that's probably not the best approach to share ownership. Gold falling again today, so recovery could be far off.
