IJWT I have not seen the Moodys report. Despite being personally very bearish on Brexit effects for the UK, I had not considered that the effects could extend to global confidence and the PoO, . I suppose it is possible, but Moodys and the other rating agencies are by nature very risk focussed (esp post 2008) and they may be over egging things there, imho.

Re Cebo's figures of 5 to 10 BN barrels the best case figures for our 5 fields might well be in that range. and I suspect that eventually, a long way down the road, the upper end of that range will be confirmed. The problem here is that this resource is just SO big, and the exploitation timetable so long (decades) that I rather doubt if all of those barrels will be valued by the market, given that at some point economies have to decarbonise. Whether you believe that or not may not matter; many instis do, or will, and I suspect the valuation placed on barrels in the ground that are not extracted in the next 10 to 15 years will be much less than some have modelled here. For that reason I do not expect to see the upper range of valuations above �10 per share, ever, despite our vast resource, and will be happy to see �2 to �3. I hope, of course, to be proven wrong!

It's just an example of how easy it is for things to be misinterpreted; whilst Ricfle's response was perhaps rather strongly stated, I can see how he managed to get the wrong end of the stick from what was posted here previously. Well, it is a bit strange. I for one find it difficult enough to remember names when multiple introductions come all at once; when the BB names and real ones gang up on me I mostly only remembered the BB handles, with a couple of exceptions. But yes, you'll have to come next year!

Pleasure to meet so many from here at the AGM yesterday, and afterwards at the Goat. Chessman, IJWT, biffa, wessexmario, SIPP, extrader, and others made for a very interesting day. Others have posted about the AGM and I may add a thought or 2 tomorrow, after drinking what seems like my own body weight in beer yesterday I am only just feeling capable of stringing a rational post together. A special mention must go to Kevin (greenmachine67) and Roddy, who, despite my heroic efforts, managed to be the last men standing as I left the Goat. I should have known a Scotsman and an Irishman would see off all comers, hope you had a good flight back!

WT fwiw and if my memory is correct, 6 months to a year is the period mentioned by HUR's senior NED in a post AGM chat last year. GM67 was with me at the time, and at least one other investor. Personally, I think he was being cautious, which is the HUR style; if all is going to plan after 3 months interest will be building, and after 6 months someone will have to break ranks, if not sooner. And as soon as one jumps the gun, it's a free for all. Imho.

biffa, I don't think many of us will be rushing away from our one chance a year to chat to the BoD ! From previous years, the Bod will seek to wrap up the post AGM informalities at some point bcos they have a formal BoD meeting post AGM. that's probably the point where we all head to the pub.

To be fair he was just covering himself by saying that the "exponential value" upside should be balanced against downside risk if basement failed to produce; and he does pretty much say that the downside is unlikely.

Not as yet. Biffadog was asking as well. We went to the Goat last year, which is round the corner ish; but a week or so back others were suggesting other venues as well. I guess the Goat would be OK, but I am happy to be persuaded that elsewhere would be better...�let's get something sorted.
