CA also state "Warwick had only been drilled once by Hurricane in 2016".

Afaik Warwick has never been drilled.

Bluewater will be running the show, it's their boat. But HUR will have inputs : it's our well, and crucial to the company's future..

frustrating as the wait is, better to not take chances on marginal weather ; any damage to the buoy or turret at this stage would be a disaster.

Joe, I think another scandal that could and should be outlawed is the high frequency trading that front runs all of us and takes a sliver of bunce off every trade we make.

duster, I have a small holding, bought nearer 7p than the current 4p. Saw Hugh present al Oil Capital, oh, early 2018, I think. It is beginning to attract the twitter ramp brigade atm, so could see a decent rise regardless ; but I'm there for the farm in. Bit of noise around that atm, but if it doesn't materialise soon it could drop back.

Masterly understatement. Genel ARE onshore, but in an unstable region with poor governance, uncertain politics, and possibly, even disputable ownership.

Plus lots of H2S, nasty stuff, makes the engineering more costly and hazardous.

IanB you mb right. If so, my previous post on the other thread mb too pessimistic.

But the co is desperate for cash, and imho will either have to raise at a discount, or just mb an opportunistic TO will arrive at a premium, but still a very cheap price. My risk/reward judgement saw me get out ; if I'm right I may come back in lower.
If something good happens, well, Ill miss out, GL to all here anyway.

Afaik the FDA have no responsibility for the financial health of pharma companies, only clinical and regulatory responsibilities. Unless someone has evidence to the contrary, I know of no reason why they would care.

I have every sympathy for holders here ( I took a substantial hit selling at 8p) but self delusion will not help.

We know a placing must come, the instis know it, and as Edwina says, they will screw the best terms they can out of MTFB, which is why I took my money out at 8p. Now, nobody knows what price we will be able to raise at, and my decision mb wrong.

Without wishing to cause offence to any here, I think many are missing is that this is not your typical small oilie with one drill, or one asset.

It's ain to an investment trust with stakes in many companies with stakes in many drills.

As such it will rise when the asset base does, determined by cash or by Mcap of the invested companies. So monetisation will likely drive the SP, not drilling success, tho that obviously helps.

While I am tempted to agree with SIPP re Spirit, never underestimate the power of sloppy journalism.

Because it SHOULD have been at the revenue stage. Revenue forgone is no different to unexpected expenditure, and impacts the bottom line, the cash position, in exactly the same way.

we had good reason to expect FOIL by January at the latest. Delays in Dubai, Algeciras and Rotterdam, then 2 failed hook-ups, mean it will now be April at the earliest. That is 3 months of delayed full production @ $30m pcm, $90m.
Ignore the ramp up, the fact is that FY 2019 will see 3 fewer months of full production than would otherwise have been the case.
