Where we go from here depends on revenue and profit, not much else. Revenue is growing at 50% y-o-y and their EBITDA losses are reducing from £2.9m in 2023 to £1.1m in 2024. I firmly expect them to make a net profit either for full year 24' or H1 25'. The SP will not be 9p then, more like 19p or above

This isn't down more... now that the Russian assets are getting POGed you'd think this would trade at NAV or close to it.

Truth is GGG no one really knows what Cas 2/3 will deliver until they're hooked up. However, we do have Central block data and Cas ST1 data to make an educated guess. I'd think we see something similar to ST1 ie high initial pressure with a sharp decline. So around 40mmcf down to 20/15mmcf which will then be consistent for many years. Most discord calculations are being worked up on 20mmcf. Even if they only do 15 each (i say only but 15 is still great considering cap ex to drill) we will still more than double production by September. Cas wells at B take 6 weeks each to drill and can be hooked up straight into the riser that's been installed. So production becomes immediate after drilling. If they don't hit guidance they won't be far off and will still be triple/quadruple or more production than today

Yes. They should have 2 more wells drilled at B pad by end of year, then 2 more early next year by Feb/March. Difference is the pipe is in with a riser at B pad so wells can be drilled, tested and hooked up immediately. This will start to happen much faster. I guess after 4 wells at B pad they move back to C and see how far the structure extends. A lot depends on Rio now I guess too. If that license gets signed off and the structure extends further than imagined reserves also increase with each new drill. 1TCF with production above 140mmcf per day by end of 25'. Guess I'll be here a good while longer yet

Good RNS. Straight information with no BS, I'd like more of this. Imo this is the turning point for the company. Stable production with production continually increasing. Cas 2/3 will likely double production, then B wells (4 of them) will double it again. I expect all that to happen by early/mid 25' and the SP to quadruple from here. £1.20/£1.50 target price in next 9 months.

Hi GGG. As best I can explain the tax losses are license specific but have a caveat they can be novated in a merger only to legacy oil. I know for sure that using tax losses for cas isn't possible, I've discussed it at length with others in the discord. If TXP decide to further develop their legacy fields those tax losses make them much more attractive.

$200m tax loss is accurate but it comes with conditions. For example, TXP can't utilise tax losses on Cascadura profits but they can on legacy oil. Which isn't a bad thing as oil is tax for worse in T&T than gas.

Wouldn't be surprised if we punch through 40 in expectation of news during Q3 Supersport... then onto 60p if news meets expectations in Q4, maybe 70p+ if they stick another drill bit into the ground to add extra production at C pad

Hard to support your argument here. There's been delays, wasted cash on dud drills, production that has not matched what was promised, then followed by sharp declines in production... I think the market has overreacted and the price will recover (I remain long here) in line increased production but you can't scream manipulation when both Trin and TXP management have screwed up.

Shipka is being given the boot by looks of it. Guy has screwed up too many times and TXP needs a COO based onshore in T&T. No point in him holding if he's leaving

Seems like there's plenty of unloved o&g shares, either because they are poorly managed or because the small cap index has fallen and dragged some good companies with it. On value and SP prediction I'm not far off yours, if Cas 2/3 produce at 15mmcf each (even if they produce higher initially the market will assume rapid decline similar to ST1 & Deep). That's an additional 30mmcf to add to our 20mmcf (stabilised) production and the share seems to be tracking Cas almost to the penny. Circa 55p after Cas comes on with potential for further upside with Trin production added in, perhaps 10p more. so 65p+
