Mr Mark Worthington has stepped down as CEO with immediate effect. Co has announced a raft of offs amounting to some £6.5Mns. Most of the W/Off relates to goodwill, so expect a substantial exceptional loss in the next accounts. SP presents a buying opportunity at these levels. There is no cash crisis here.

Mr J Wardell recently advised the Co of his reduction in his holdings in the issued share. Mr Wardell has now informed the Co, that he will not be seeking re-election as a director at the next AGM. In view of the large holdings and Board reshuffle, my guess is that there will be more corporate news regarding the intentions of the major Holdings, hopefully leading to an increase in shareholder value.

In addition, on the same day, Cairns Investments hold 3.9Mns representing 24.4% isc. SP upside looks very likely as Corporate activity speeds up and possible further holdings announcements arrive.

Numbers at 30th June have been published. Operating Profit increases t20% o £49K; Pre Tax Profit up a staggering 193% to £82K; Group net Assets are £4.2Mns which represent over 90% of Assets; Group current ratio is a healthy 2.64 and increasing year on year. Hitches in the proposed discounting factoring enquiries have reached near conclusion, however the draconian terms requested by the Bank have forced the Co to reconsider its financial position. The Co appears not to have sufficient cash flow to meet current liabilities, at the request of the Co, the shares have been suspended pending clarification of its financial position. Any would be suitors appear to have closed the door behind them and locked it.

This out of favour stock has been hammered by poor trading performance and negative press that followed. However, every weakness in sp is being pounced on. It looks like once the dust has settled this stock will present itself as a recovery stock.

Has been a steady rise from the off today. Without any particular buying pressure, looks like the recent Corporate activity is impacting on the stock, my guess is that there is more positive news forthcoming on Juanambu/Costayaco workings.

Not Tuckered out yet. Steven Tucker has increased his personal holdings here to 1.775Mns of the 10p Ordinaries, representing 2.8%, after buying 300k. Further found out that Mr Tucker is a Director of The Command Fund, which has a holding of 8 3/4Million or 13.8%. Thus a combined holding of 16.58% is now tightly held.

Appears to be kicking in now, after the realisation that the Directors are pulling out all the stops to turn this Co around.
