Dowgate (DGT) have an interest here amounting to 3.55Mns shares representing 7% of the issued shares (isc). Looks like Prop Trading 7 Investments Ltd have sold out....

Or just a buy for this christmas!!!! DGT has thrown money at Hollywood Media Services plc.www.hmservicesplc.com after declaring an interest of 7% in the shares, this represents a holding of 3.55Mns. Looks like Prop Trading and Investments Ltd was a forced seller ?

Analyst Teathers have put a target price of 25p/share as there are a number of private equity buyers interested in buying the Co. However buying at the current sp is speculative after two dire profits warnings earlier this year.

With the sale of the assets, excluding the freehold property, debtors and creditors, for a conditional £675,000 .consideration to Setec Birmingham Ltd. £225 will be paid up-front with £400,000 payable before April and £50,000 payable by July. 120 employees will transfer under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 1981 (TUPE).,

As usual good Corporate news is as useful as a wind break in a hurricane in the current economic mess. However, there are nuggets out there that neeed tucking away until the business climate warms up. IGE is one of them in my opinion. Highlghts of the results to 30th September: Sales £2Mns up 33% year on year; Gross margin at 49%; Overheads reduced by 12%; Post Tax Loss reduced by some 56% to £331K; Net Cash more or less stable year on year at £1.54Mns. Since the 30th Sept year end IGE has signed a £830,000 China order contract. With the restructuring continuing, this Co looks set to come out of the Corporate fallout quite unscathed.

Once again, we find a Company which has produced a good Corporate trading update which will no doubt receive "city" neglect. This Co has announce fantastic contract wins over the last 12 months which should be reflected in next audited results, provisional numbers are showing that turnover in the last 1/4 of the financial year ended 30th September were around £9Mns (143% increase) compared to £4Mns year on year. Revenues for the first 6 months of this year are running at £13.5Mns. A new contract has been signed with Tanaka Kinkinzoku Kogyo Kabushiki Kaisha (TKK) to sell IP rights to part of CTS's Heavy Duty Diesel and will receive some £4Mns consideration. Interesting developments here, two Directors have increased their holdings: Mr I Brodie bought up 36,357 shares and Mr K Edwards bought up 27,837 shares at 15.5p/each. Their respective holdings have increased to 1.98% and 1.25% each holds 1,731,611, and 1,093,135 of the issued share cap (isc) respectively.

The Company has issued a statement today alleging that it is in early stage discussions regarding a possible takeover. As these talks are at a very early stage. Takeover price should it come be in excess of 12p/share..

The new shares 76Mns of them will be issued at a price well above current sp to reflect the current nav. We do not know what the price will be. But let us say for argument £6. There will be 149Mns after a 1:1 issue new shares, the Co argues that the nav is £7.12 therefore current share price should range. (0 .89+6)/2 = £3.45 but the nav is alleged to be £7.12. So the sp should rally well, but this is only my theory..

Hi boredmum. The reverse takeover and issue of new shares, is hoped to re-allign the current 89% share price discount to net asset value (nav), by combining certain operations to make the Co more transparent to the "market", new shares will be issued. The deal is complex but it should align the sp to current nav of £7.12. Members approval will be needed to ratify the reverse take-over (rto).

ALM has been awarded costs against Greyhound Services Ltd (BAGS) in defending the recent litigation claim but Almagamated Racing Ltd (AMRAC) has been ordered to pay the costs of BAGS in defending the counterclaim. As a consequence AMRAC will receive an interim payment of £1Mns, with more to follow.

Has signed with Evans & Reid Coal Co Ltd for a 5 year term. This gives the low sulpher sized coal from the Aberpergwm mine access to the domestic, EU market. This mine has over 7.6mn probable Tonnes and 36.2Mns estimated recoverable reserves. CBM has a 50.6% stake in EBG

Once the alleged wouyld be bidder conducted due diligence, and then decided to walk, surely it was obvious for investors to cut and run. This was supposed to be one of the most liguid of retailers, not so. Best to cut losses and perhaps come back in on further negative sentiment. All looks too bleak to be piling in at the moment. Best leave it until the Spring !!!!

Chairman Paul Rackham snr, having purchased 145,000 shares at 11p each, has increased his holdings to 22.5% of the isc. This along with other family members' holdings now account for 52.7% of the isc representing 19.088Mns. Looks a very strategic holding and may well signal some Corporate activity to realise shareholder value. With the Government,s backing down regarding Tax on empty properties, could signal an improvement and further interest.

Normally just a technical error whilst a revised share price and spread being updated. With a 16% rise in sp live Bid from brokers is offered at 2.6p. This share price has been bobbing around 3p/2.6p for several sessions, but it just cannot break through the 3p upper level. But looks increasingly likely !!!!
