If it is Travelodge then it will be the second major leisure client that STP "wired up" because in June 2007 it beganupgraded Regent Inn outlets. There has been some very lucrative contract wins of late but has been overlooked by the general economic downturn. But there is no doubt STP is pushing the right buttons.

In the North Sea Norway region has been successfully drilled and the Co is excited about its prospects. FPM will be impacted by this report released today.

It was announced today that year on year trading over the key Xmas period was down 33%. With little signs of a recovery. The Co has indicated it has a cash flow issue by looking at short term finance fix. The "for sale" board has been put up and a buyer is being sought for all or part of the business. This is a severe profits warning.

Worth around £600,000 in a two year deal with a major hotel chain, Travelodge was mooted as being the chain upgrading its wireless internet access, STP will replace BT. In a further move, an existing supply contract has been extended for a further 3 years and is expected to generate some some £3mns in sales.

There was no stopping the sp rise in WTN this session, rising 19p to 62p/share this values CBM shares on the takeover at 46.5p/share. After rising almost 100% since first merger was mooted, could be timely to lock in those profits, lock out downside and sell half of stock and ride the remainder for free.

With WTN shares currently up 11.5p to 54.5p/share. This values CBM at 40.875p/share on a takeover. Still very much undervalued at 34p

No wonder the Co is in such a dire state. When one contacts the Co published email contacts, the reply comes back Out of Office from 3rd December until 5th January 2009, the alternate contacts do not reply. This is one peculiar outfit I must say !!!!!

Having had the 15.91Hectare site in its sights since 2003. The land at the junction of the A14/A5199 at Welford/Cattorpe, has been bought up for £1/5Mns. This site looks to be prime location being so close to key motorway links. Recent Director buying looks to have been very shrewdly timed.

Since consolidation, the market cap has halved. There is nothing to support the sp at the moment so at £253k or so in value, shares in issue is now 1.94mns this Co is going nowhere rapid. Formerley known as Bits, that is precisely what shareholders will see of their investments.

With more bits to fall off. With the share price doomed to enter negative territory, The Co will consolidate the shares effective tomorrow giving the illusion of value but this will effectively allow the market cap to fall further and further in value..

The suspence in the release of the very much overdue Scoping study is as exciting and enthrawling as any horror movie. The pro-active release as upbeat as it makes the situation cannot disguise the fact that the Scoping study was due to be released by mid October as stated by Scott Wilson Ltd re News Release 17th June 2008. Then on 5th Sept 2008 Directors issued a resource update and Gordon Riddler, Chairman stated " The exploration results.... particularly Bou Jabeur where we await the results of a scoping study in the last quarter of 2008". Well Chairman you certainly do know how to keep shareholders in suspense, the delay indicates they will make pretty good reading !!!! The share price is responding well to the suspense, and the lack of Director buying over the last 6 months indicates confidence !!!!! (neither of these two events have been evident). Clarification. The rns released by the londonstockexchange refers to "ordinary shares of 20p...." This is the nominal value of the shares ie CBM has 118.15Mns issued shares at 20p each. The value put on CBM in the merger is based on the value of WTN shares being worth 32.5p each on 23rd December. CBM members will recieve .75 shares in WTN for every 1 CBM share.

With the shares currently priced at 18.5p. The offer uplifts the sp by some 32%. So early excited reaction and momentum buying could well take the sp beyond the offer price. My opinion is that CBM is undervalued even at the proposed merger price on fundamentals, the Technical analysis may throw up something different. EBG has 50% of its shares held by CBM so should respond to this news.

Western Canadian Coal Corp and CBM have announced preliminary discussions regarding a possible merger. The valuation put on CBM is circa £28.8Mns or 24.375p/share. CBM has a 50% stake in EGB so should benefit if it agrees to the merger in which it will certainly take part in the discussions..
