Buffets indicator suggested market correction 2 years ago....

Did they sell off then....had they had done so theyd mis out on futher 25% rise

Bought into airlines big time when the aviation sector is first into a rescession and last out

Say a share closes at COB 100p then opens the following day at 105p or 95p...theres a gap that at a point in the future will get filled

IMO..is the first sector into a rescession and the last out..
How on heavens earth are airlines going to survive with the suggested social distancing rules being applied......particularly flying with low payloads...

I keep my own records of every trade I make and have done for 20 years or so....Is this good practise ?

For what it is worth....i have 15 or so in my PF and whist I wouldnt disagree with anything Billy and DT have stated.....
I use IG alerts ..which can be set at any level ...obviously you can act upon them when they trigger.

I am however retired and trading I consider to be my job...i have the interest and the time..

It is however a point IMO that the fewer the stocks you hold the closer you get to know them in terms of their behavioural patterns.

Great to hear from you too Roydon...Ive been posting on the Glen board...as for making millions...i wish, it has been a painful qtr.....but regardless of CV I didnt think that our stocks would fall as much as they did considering we were always lagging behind the DGIA...There was always going to be a correction /crash anyway and long overdue IMO............but again it presents opportunities if you hold back cash...and i do think we will revisit the Lows..

Anyway had a great meet up with six of the guys on the Glenboard in October last ..a weekend in middle England...we all got on great and stay in touch..

It would be great if you could join us on the next meet when this is practicable
