Just been advised by my broker...so for 10k shares ...i would receive 10000/23 × 2.07 at todays price...
Obvious question is if theres a share dilution will the SP decline when the rights are issued and if so to what level?

Right now he has 15k shares ..value.... £16980
He takes up the rights: 50000 x 0.32.. outlay £16000

Total Valu £32980

Post rights New Value:
65000 shares x 0.4915 (taking John Lewis example) ... £31947.50

So pete would be £1033 out of pocket if he takes up the rights at todays COB SP..

Why would you want to subscribe for the RI...if they are cheaper to buy on the open market at anything les than 1.666.
If the RI collapses do they have to pay for it in which case RR takes another hit it can ill afford

Great Post....fully concur..to try and make money with so called Solid Ftse companies is like pulling teeth....whilst in the USA over past couple of years a lot easier (though I believe this could change IMO)
