They are close to finalising some deals and have a business model that assures them of recurrent revenue.
If you are interested in a slightly mature three pillar company - DVRG would fit your bill.

Reading, listening (and contributing) to these boards over the weekend left me wondering this morning :
Considering the extent of need, various partnerships and urgency to get to market corresponding with the likely boom in EVs, wouldn't AFC want to go in for a capital raise?

AB said the same in one of his interviews from a year ago.
All research points to the cost of H2 being a stumbling block. Now, if AFC are able to use low grade H2 (particularly from ammonia), then we are quids in around the world.
That factory may need expanding soon!!

That's because the emergency COVID legislation gave the government additional powers and it can also draw on or enact additional powers to control the pandemic. [Note - the UK dashed into the vaccine (it IS SAFE) before anyone else in the world]

UK is the 'home' market and the second most affected country in the world in terms of COVID cases. With a ready product, desperate need by govt and the economic fall out of lockdowns and openings - one would've thought that DVRG would be in pole position to get any contract.
No body is begruding DVRG entry into US/China or anywhere else. HOwever, the Chinese have concequered the virus well (see the nightlife pics in Wuhan - jealous!). US is pretty disorganised with folks battling nonsensically.
I would see the UK as an entry market to Europe too.

Also, let us not forget that ABB have now focussed on this area strategically themselves, having divested themselves of 'grids' and sold that business to Hitachi.
ABB have as much reason for us to succeed as we would want them to.

I bought early into VLS and have been underwater there since.

Why would I want to be flooded with others' photos, friend requests, Mark's marketing and harvesting as well as other sundry rubbish on FB when I can have a mature well-informed discussion here?
This is an investing BB - FB is not.

I have just spent the morning listening to AB's old interviews on YouTube.
Just to check what had been said before in light of where we are now.
Three things stand out for me:
1. Extreme E confirmed contract
2. ABB
3. Acconia
Each is evidence of workability of the product. Each is in a different field of industry but with the same focus of off-grid power. That's electric power, mind you. Not hydrogen.
Yet, AFAIK, none of them have a ££ value attached to it, nor a revenue sharing model.
FWIW, I will continue to remain invested since the company has delivered on what it had been promising.

ABB have divested from the grid having sold their business to Hitachi.
AFC will have to partner with someone else or do it themselves.
I guess grid augmentation is similar to solar panels on domestic rooftops which supply the grid when the sun is shining.
