That's her new moniker as used by some of her parliamentary colleagues, Farage for example. I think it's quite appropriate given her attempts to embellish her CV to give a false impression of her experience as an economist. She's clearly out of her depth as Chancellor as is her side kick Darren Jones. Even I know of you tax too much you get less revenue and damage the economy. Ask Arthur Laffer!

The Bond market situation is worrying along with the big drop in Sterling, which obviously makes jet fuel more expensive this side of the pond. It's so frustrating knowing the great potential of IAG but then one worries about the poor macro economic environment being created by the hopelessly incompetent Labour government and the potential negative effect that could have on IAG and frankly all British businesses going forward!

Weakening pound isn't helping with fuel costs, nevertheless I think the SP has fallen too far so hopefully a move northwards but no doubt a small one. FTSE futures are slightly up but there's still time for that to change! It's becoming more apparent that Reeves has destroyed the UK's economic credibility hence today's surging 30 year bond yields and Sterling's huge drop, so it's worrying times. It really is unfortunate that Labour snuck in with only 33% electoral support and are now wreaking such economic damage. I just hope EZJ can weather the storm and still deliver great results in a couple of weeks. 🤞

And down even more today. It's the Bond yields this time or is it the tariffs? Anything negative and this pig drops like a stone. I suspect it could be years before this rises significantly, if it ever does. The decision to associate closely with China has been a disaster. The broker predictions look more ridiculous by the day!

EZJ is turning into a bit of a dog. I suspect BoA are selling down thus putting pressure on the SP. I'm beginning to lose faith that this is ever going to properly recover. Let's hope the upcoming results surprise to the upside. Anything else and this is heading even lower. Disappointing in the extreme.

Nothing seems to move the dial on this dog. Buybacks have been happening for close to a year, yet the SP only goes down so it's reasonable to conclude that it's been a waste of time. It would've been better to offer a larger dividend as the current offering is derisory. A healthier dividend might've attracted more punters leading to a higher shareprice as the stock would be in greater demand.

Here's hoping we can maintain yesterday's small gain and stay above the £3 threshold. 🤞

Don't worry, it'll be back to red tomorrow. There's just no positive macro economic news forthcoming to help with sentiment.

Thanks for your thoughts on the oil price and its effect on IAG's shareprice, Takayama, which I found reassuring. I agree that we need to properly clear £3 to start moving up some more. It has certainly been a difficult hurdle so far. Mind you holding through the sticky moments is the key to greater rewards. I like your £5 by year end prediction. It reminds me of a poster on the RR board who predicted £5 when the shareprice had risen to £2.50ish and I thought he was deluded so I'm taking your price forecast seriously!

I took that view with RR, IAG and sold out way too early i.e. £2.54 and have regretted it ever since. Not saying IAG will rise as much as RR did or even at all but I find watching a share rise significantly after selling, quite difficult. Here's hoping the continuing rise in the oil price doesn't derail IAG's ascent. Why is oil rising anyway? Bloody annoying!

They're a bunch of charlatans so don't expect anything from them apart from the likely winding up RNS. I think the FCA should be taking a look as they seem to be deliberately ignoring shareholders who obviously have a legitimate right to know what the hell is going on, good or bad.

I'd say IAG have a better chance of increasing than VOD, avocet, so not sure your strategy is perfect either. Who's is? I assume you don't hold any IAG? Was thinking of getting back into VOD now that the SP has settled around 67p. Surely it must go up from there!

But BA is IAG's biggest and most profitable constituent. UK businesses are decrying the crippling effect the looming NI hikes will have on their overall costs, which will be passed on thus feeding inflation. With borrowing costs also heading higher, the treasury will probably end up with a net revenue loss. Obviously the morons that are Starmer and Reeves have never heard of the Laffer curve!

Seemingly an impossible nut to sustainably crack. You'd think with today's 2 further upgrades, albeit not fantastic from Bernstein at 330p, that the SP might respond more positively especially as Citigroup has gone with 375p. But as is becoming normal the FTSE100 is down when the other European markets are up. I guess, like all UK companies, IAG is paying the price for trying to do business in Starmer's Britain!

And I see BoA are still interfering. Looks like they've reduced their holding now. It's getting tedious not knowing what their buying, selling agenda is aimed at achieving or do we just have lots of proxy American investors? Something definitely unusual going on.

Looks like the tariff issue might be less damaging than originally envisaged! Bought some more in the hope of a recovery in the China/Hong Kong bourses in response to this better news. Could the long wait for a re-rate here be coming to an end?!

Quelle surprise, no update! I fear we're heading for disappointment here. Rowland et al are not to be trusted and don't care one jot about shareholders.
