The opposite is happening. The FTSE's been dead for a while now and shows no sign of recovery and to add to the gloom, the Yanks are going to kill us again today, which is becoming very predictable. Why would anyone buy shares in the morning as it's the Yanks who always dictate the direction. There's just nothing positive ATM for shares. Depressing 😔

But the SP attrition continues. There are clearly forces working against EZJ in my opinion. I just hope we don't head back down to the low 500s. I'm beginning to think I should've sold at recent highs. EZJ never seems to tire of disappointing its shareholders. Mind you the FTSE100 in general is pathetic and with Starmer in charge I can't see it improving anytime soon.

Wizz down over 4%, sun. That's significant in a single day. Airlines have experienced turbulence in the last few sessions. It would be nice to have a strong up day to restore confidence. I guess the weak pound is not helping with fuel costs which might be part of the reason for the drop. Anyway, in the longer term these should go higher, one hopes.

Another RR this is not!

But unfortunately not this Christmas, sun. In fact we're getting a Santa rout! The FTSE is very weak with airlines coming under particular pressure. I guess the idea of a looming recession is spooking investors! Beginning to think IAGlongterm has called this right. EZJ also going down the pan. It's quite sickening after waiting so long for a sort of recovery. Another RR this is it!

Looks like it's heading lower. There's just no life in it whatsoever. I'm in a dilemma now as to whether to hold or sell. You'd think it would go up a bit considering how much money EZJ will be making over the festive period. Maybe when the new CEO starts things might improve.

MMs seem determined to bring this down below £3 again. I guess they're using the poor macro economic backdrop as the rationale. What did we do to deserve being lumbered with the wealth destructors that are Starmer and Reeves?

Unfortunately, as the macro economic outlook worsens airline stocks are coming under pressure. It's disappointing to see the recent SP rise halted at circa 570p but with Starmer and Reeves doing their best to ruin the economy, sentiment has taken a hit. Let's hope airlines get over this blip and continue to exceed expectations despite the general market malaise.

The way things are stagnating I'd say 580p! But nobody knows. Maybe there could be a takeover approach. There's certainly been a lot of buying and selling activity from an unknown proxy or proxies via Bank of America in recent months. Something has definitely been holding the SP back.

Looks like our Christmas present from IAG will be a shareprice below £3! Not sure why the sentiment has turned negative, especially as airlines in the US did well yesterday. I hope we can get back on track in the New year.

Agree, Pav. It's sickening TBH. We wait all day just to be dragged down by the Yanks, again! But we don't follow them up! It's been a very poor 10 days on the UK stock market and I can't see how things are going to improve with the clown Starmer in charge. Worrying times.

And again today, no doubt. Maybe the lack of progress is also due to the imminent CEO changeover. Something has definitely killed this.

No Santa rally! With today's news of a stagnant economy, one wonders if the current progress within the business can be sustained. The economy under Starmer and his clueless chancellor is in serious trouble. I just hope that folks continue to fly despite this.

Thankfully no-one was hurt and it was a positioning flight so no passengers. Nevertheless, a lucky escape it would seem. I guess with cancellations and diversions due to the temporary closure of Belfast city, unwanted costs will be incurred. Hopefully the SP is not adversely affected in the a.m.!

Just my feelings and I've had a few go under on me, most recently H&W where the CEO was also promising the earth up to the very last minute. A bit like here! Too many dishonest CEOs about! And yes, I'm bitter! Lol

Glad to have called that wrong. Sometimes there's no logic to what markets decide to do! As long as IAG keeps rising towards fair value, I'm happy 😁
