There's still a lot of hype involved with hydrogen but I'm hopeful that it will increasingly gain traction as a credible energy source of the future.

Down 9% on Tradegate! Looks like the fun is over for now. Hopes for a return to 20p plus now wishful thinking. I guess it's the lack of money that's the big worry here. At least ITM has lots of cash which provides reassurance to investors and is why it is holding up better, I believe. Who would've thought 10 years ago that AFC would be trading at 15p with virtually no money in 2025. Hydrogen technology is not easy to commercialise it would seem! Maybe it's just an elaborate lifestyle company after all.

Same old jam tomorrow story here. Haggis has been pumping this for years to no avail. Either he's mad or getting paid handsomely! It's very disappointing to see this descend but I guess not really surprising. Will hold on for a bit in the hope of a reversal or some proper news.

It's a pity nobody is tipping VOD in the media. Every time I buy back in here, I quickly regret it. I still think we need a new, dynamic CEO to move this forward as Margherita is a relic from VOD's inglorious past.

Maybe Air Products will make an offer for AFC to get their hands on Mike Rendall's cracker technology. I'd take 50p a share!

Once the latest middle eastern war ends, this will jump up considerably. I can't see a protracted conflict, hopefully!

Pointing out that Adam Bond's constant misleading statements were detrimental to AFC and bad for investors was not spin but fact. Now that he's gone the new leadership seems to be making a better fist of it. Let's hope they succeed where Bond failed.

Down over 6% on Tradegate. Looks like more news will be needed to keep the SP progressing or even at current levels. It's all very precarious until proper sales are announced and the route to profitability becomes clearer. I fear a sell off tomorrow.

A pathetic upgrade from UBS! One wonders who worked out that the SP should be worth 4p more at 72p instead of 68p. Looks like they're on an agenda. If all the significant changes to the business over the last couple of years have made no difference, according to UBS, then what was the point?! I think said UBS upgrade is best ignored.

Down nearby 10% on Tradegate. Obviously, the market is underwhelmed although the Israeli attack on Iran doesn't help. An 85% reduction seems almost unbelievable. I guess it will help them sell generators. 🤞

Hype! And partnering with Linde! Plus talk of supplying hydrogen directly into the gas grid to augment the domestic gas supply and various other things that I can't remember but basically the kit was not ready for commercialisation at that time. Also, green energy was on fire both here and in the states with Plug etc. I guess punters reckoned green hydrogen was on the cusp of going main stream. It didn't but maybe now is its time!

Maybe we could poach Tufan Erginbilgic from RR! 😂 Margherita is as dull as ditch water and clearly incapable of making the market believe she can really turn VOD around. I don't understand how she can stay in post given the dismal SP performance under her watch.

Again this has been dragged back down. Beginning to think it's not capable of sustaining any rises. Maybe the tragic air crash this morning in India is negatively affecting aerospace shares. Boeing will certainly be taking a hammering, no doubt. I really feel for all of those lost souls and can only imagine what their relatives are going through. It's everyone's worst nightmare and puts things in perspective.

I agree fleccy that RR is not an attractive investment at current levels whereas VOD is, in theory but it never seems to fulfill one's hopes. A new CEO is definitely required to get this going as happened recently over at INTEL. Margherita has had her chance but has clearly failed to enhance the shareprice and as such has let shareholders down, massively. Good luck with your new purchase, fleccy.

Despite all VOD's efforts to massively reposition the business, supposedly for growth, the market remains unimpressed. The 3 merger had no effect nor the divesting of the Spanish and Italian assets so I'm guessing it's Germany that is causing the biggest problem. I'd have thought though that the comments in the recent results about expected growth in the German market going forward would've spurred this on into the 80s at least but no, nothing seems to work for VOD. Maybe this time next year ..,....
