Silence from AFC is once again deafening. Clearly they've got no news to impart to keep the shareprice moving up. Unfortunately, it's the same old here i.e. jam next year or maybe the year after that. It's really amazing though that they've been able to keep the gravy train chugging away for 20 years without any hint of a commercially viable deal. The smoke and mirrors routine at its best!

I'd have thought the SP should go up today with all the reinvested divies to come. It's certainly been a disappointing start as with all airlines. I'll never understand why airlines seem to get a kicking for no apparent reason! It's summer, flights are full and oil is low!

Can't keep up with the inexorably rising RR. Zero tariffs on aerospace components to the US kick in today so that no doubt explains the small rise. Let's hope it is sustained.

This game is only fun when a SP is rising not stagnating as VOD's has been for 2 years now!

I suspect it's shorters trying to bring the price down. It was going well yesterday and with all the recent director buys should be heading north. Hopefully, they won't be able to keep it down much longer.

AFC reverting to type i.e. long periods of radio silence causing the SP to drift downwards. Why change the habit of a lifetime?!

So what does it say?

A £5 million and a £3 million buys showing up as late trades. Coming on top of the big management buys that's very encouraging and it's up 3% stateside! All that must have some significance. Better times ahead I think 🤔

What isn't coming fast is an RNS telling the market of sales progress. It's the same old story here, all hype and no action. At least the new CEO has put his hand in his pocket unlike the overpaid, deceitful Bond!

Because it will go much higher! Once all grounded planes have their engines replaced and are useable again this will easily be back over £20 in my opinion! DYOR.

I hope not, robleo but I'm not overly exposed here as before but I've got a decent amount to benefit from should this rise back to pound territory, which I have a sneaking suspicion it might just do in the months ahead, if we get some better economic news from our key market, Germany.

Super bullish from Bernstein and with cable now starting to favour sterling in a significant way, travel to the US is becoming ever more affordable. All we need now is for a ceasefire in Ukraine and this will go to £4 plus in a flash!

Re- initiating a "hold" and 80p target. At least it's a small positive from here. Bought a few more as the overall negative broker sentiment seems to be starting to ease. Probably regret it! 😕

Up their rating to 'outperform" and a price target of £4.50! Nice!

Interference again, this time Kepler Cheuvreux cutting to a "hold". Definitely on the side of the shorts! I thought MRO operated in an industry where there is a huge demand but not enough supply so the downgrades don't make sense to me.

Maybe this quote from the RNS is the reason for the decline. Does it imply that FIDs are proving elusive? It's certainly a disappointing market reaction, so far.
