From the Interim report on 29/06/22. Now overdue by 5 days unless it's been delivered already and they just can't be bothered telling anyone. Either way it is a very poor show from a company fast losing all credibility due to repeatedly missing their own targets. And still some on her think AB is doing a good job! Lol

OK m3ggie. I think the deluded ones are those who chose to believe haggis! Didn't he say the the MC wouldn't go below £500 million? If that wasn't deliberate disinformation I don't what is! He's a conman!

I think haggis' cut and pasting agenda (at least the 3rd time for this post) is proof if proof were needed that he is unscrupulous. He tries to stifle any dissenting posters by resorting to abuse and unfounded allegations that said posters must all be con men if they don't adhere to his bullish narrative. Beware of this poster as he seeks to manipulate others investing strategies for his own gain. He is TRADING this stock!

ITM and CWR charging ahead this morning. AFC not, I'm sure due to the continuing silence on the Acciona and Keltbray deliveries. It really is unacceptable that we are told to expect these events within a certain timescale, which comes and goes and then nothing. It's amateurish and incompetent and shows a total disregard for shareholders. Bond needs to go as this will never change whilst he's in charge and it is causing huge reputational damage to the company.

Calm before the storm!

It didn't affect us too much on Friday pm and Tradegate remained up into the evening so hopefully we'll not be dragged down on Monday. Of course if we hear something on Acciona deployment Monday, that could help mitigate any general sector negativity. on Monday it'll be almost 3 weeks since AB's deployment within 2 weeks comment so it must be close. TBH, I think once this power tower breaks cover and starts producing zero emission energy in a real world setting, the market may respond significantly favourably. Let's hope so.

ABB are just taking a punt on it becoming a reality Alt. What's £4million to them. If the S cell comes off they are quids in but if it doesn't, they only lose the £4million. They're obviously happy with the risk reward ratio on this. If it was a sure thing, they'd have been looking for a much bigger slice of the business. I think putting too much emphasis on ABB's involvement can be misleading.

You make my point nicely Klunk. That was nearly 2 years ago and we've not been updated as to what happened with the cited electoysis trials in the RNS you posted. I'm aware of the research facility which was announced in February 2021 but there's been precious little if anything since on how the research being carried out there is progressing. Below is a quote from Bond in typical bullish fashion, from the RNS announcing the facility.
"Our new world class AEM hydrogen fuel cell research facility cements AFC Energy at the cutting edge of arguably the world's most promising, low cost, high energy dense fuel cell technology. We continue to believe this platform will compete head on with incumbent high energy dense fuel cells in the market today such as PEM technologies both on cost and performance, but with all the benefits of our proprietary alkaline chemistry."
Does he still believe? If so I wish he'd tell us!

H2 not Q2!

Well it's the second half of 2022 now Alt and we're still waiting for confirmation that AlkaMem is on track. What is a realistic timeline for it to appear? Having read some of the research material from professor Varcoe it's clear that perfecting a high performance anionic membrane is no mean feat and may take years. Are AFC genuinely capable of pulling this off? Listening to how Bond built it up in 2019 when he called it the holy grail gave the impression it was a matter of when not if it would be produced in full working order. Let's hope we hear something on its progress very soon. It is Q2 after all which is later in the year.

As a LTH here I'm just so disappointed that here we are in H2 2022 and no AlkaMem in sight even though it was touted as soon to be a reality in 2019! I feel that the Power Tower is simply a hastily designed interim product to placate the market and shareholders until AlkaMem arrives and gets integrated into products like the 500kw to 1mw power cube. That's where the real action's at. ABB are not interested in power tower's I suspect. Nevertheless, I take your point and some hope from your description of a 100kw diesel generator, Escala.

So 10 power towers in series to make 100kw! Let's be honest here the HFC or power tower's energy density is insufficient to become a serious replacement for diesel power generation. I keep saying it but it's AlkaMem (the holy grail!) or bust! We need more power. Simple!

Thanks for the clarification Mr. A.but my understanding of a power tower is that it consists of x4 S series air cooled fuel cell stacks each making 2.5kw. Are these stacks actually the HFC or is the whole tower the HFC? Also, if Acciona are now getting a power tower does this mean they only want 10kw of power as opposed to the original 100kw L cell order? Or are they going to get multiple power tower's? I assume then if they go for say the original 100kw output with x40 fuel cell stacks it would no longer be a power tower but maybe a power rectangle or is it then an HFC?! Very confusing.

As you'll note the HFC being built for Acciona in March became a Power Tower system in June. So the HFC and power tower are one in the same. Why the different nomenclature then? More smoke and mirrors I guess.

Ah! The self appointed (or maybe not!) AFC guru and board monitor pops up to censor my post. I'd love to hear you try to put a positive on what has been another very poor week for AFC investors Alt. Go on!

Well, there we have it, no word on Acciona or Keltbray deployments. I'd hazard a guess that Bond's first utterance in the recent proactive video that Acciona's deployment would be later this year before correcting himself to next month, revealed the actual situation in an accidental moment of candour.

From the interim report posted on 29th June! The next fortnight referred to has come and gone with no notification of any deployment to Acciona. How can they keep getting away with issuing such inaccurate guidance on product delivery? This company is losing any semblance of credibility under this disastrous CEO as it repeatedly fails to deliver on its own product deployment timetable. Absolutely hopeless!

And no Acciona delivery news. Obviously AB's idea of 2 weeks differs from most and maybe end of Q2 for Keltbray means something else in AFC world! So predictable and yet still very disappointing.
