Air passenger duty from UK airports needs to be scrapped to give IAG and others a fighting chance of maintaining demand throughout the period of looming energy price hikes. Considering the damage inflicted on airlines by the government due to their absurd COVID policies, getting rid of this onerous tax is the least they could do to help stimulate a sustainable aviation industry recovery.

Jim is an abusive poster. He uses profanity and name calling in his posts as he clearly has no control over his emotions. I think as he does this so consistently it shows that he's actually unwell. There are a couple of conditions that could cause his uncontrollable urges to abuse people such as pseudobulbar affect (PBA) or maybe emotional dysregulation but whatever it is he definitely needs help. I guess we should feel sorry for him.

It's all very disappointing given the great vibe around the AIHL POC test launch including the ITV news article. It seemed at the time that its uptake by different NHS trusts would be a no brainer. What has gone wrong? Just doesn't make sense to me given the huge risk to new borns who require antibiotic treatment, if the POC test isn't used. It should be flying off the shelves.
