I hope you're correct Goatlegs. I do agree that proper orders would allow AFC's SP to transcend the general market sentiment so I guess it's still a big waiting game. What's a couple more years when some have been here in excess of a decade?! Patience as ever!

I think the Chinese lock downs with the associated reduction in air travel and the complete loss of business in Russia are playing their part in keeping the RR shareprice nailed to the floor. Neither of these issues are going to get resolved in the short-term thus I'm beginning to fear a protracted period in the doldrums for RR's shareprice. It's all very disappointing after such hope, following the resumption of air travel.

No Goatlegs I blame AFC for having a shareprice of 18p! It used to be 80p! That's an abysmal performance in anyone's book and even with the recent power tower action the SP has remained unmoved. Once upon a time we'd have put on 25% on that alone. Is the end of cheap money the main factor here I wonder? If it is we're snookered!

Seems like any interest in AFC is drying up. Hardly any trading and the price nailed to the floor. It's increasingly looking like the SP could take months if not years to recover to previous highs, if it ever does. Where have all the enthusiasts gone? Even haggis, the ramper in chief, is missing in action! It'll soon be November and no news on ABB's 100kw solid cell. Any protracted delay to its appearance will certainly not help long suffering shareholders. What a horrible investment this has turned out to be!

I see ITM's MC is now at roughly the same level as AFC's was at its peak. Unfortunately, that's over 4 times more than the current MC for AFC but with units finally being produced, which will hopefully lead to sales, could AFC catch up with ITM in the MC stakes? Imagine that!

I fail to see how a country run by the current Labour party, who want to redistribute wealth, would be conducive to creating a strong business environment. Growth would certainly remain anaemic for years if they get in.

Well if the SP didn't respond extremely positively to 100 power tower sales, which would indicate commercial take off, then there's no point in remaining invested. Bearing in mind we've seen 90p on no sales so £1 does not seem irrational for 100 power towers!

If we had sold 100 power towers 2 months ago the SP would be easily £1. Fact!

Well I could've added that the macro outlook is bleak for the next 2 to 3 years but I thought that too depressing. Can AFC buck the trend?

The issue is that the Keltbray trial is 6 weeks late which adds to AFC's reputation for not adhering to timescales as they appear in RNSs. The market is no doubt assuming that other expected milestones will not be delivered on time either hence the abysmal SP. What we need to change that are orders, orders, orders! One day Rodney!

I think the disconnect between expectations and reality has worn everyone down. Barring a spectacular announcement on ABB's fuel cell deployment, this will be stuck in the doldrums for the foreseeable future despite haggis' best efforts.

It's looking like only orders will positively impact the SP. Overdue power tower trials are clearly not enough. Talk of £1 plus is for the birds at the moment. Let's hope the ABB solid cell arrives on time to give this a boost although on recent form I'm not overly hopeful.

Good news but it's also confirmation that deployments have been behind schedule i.e. Keltbray's power tower was initially supposed to be deployed by the end of June and Kier's in August. Maybe they've spent more time to perfect the design but it looks like the market isn't responding well to the delay. It's a pity they didn't offer an explanation for the slippage as it might have been for a good reason. I just hope that ABB's solid cell is on time! Thanks for posting hicon.
