AFC are continuing to disappoint even in relation to the sector which is worrying. I hope folks didn't listen to haggis's £7 ramping nonsense recently and pile in. The recent news on the Methanol Fuel Tower whilst welcome has really only confirmed that AFC are still carrying out R&D and are not ready for commercialisation at scale. This is being reflected in the poor SP performance particularly in relation to CWR and ITM. If Bond doesn't achieve sales this year, surely his time must be up?

Let's hope the ABB high density solid cell makes an appearance as expected. If it fails to materialise and no power tower sales get announced then the SP will languish at these levels and lower. I personally don't believe AFC will produce the 100kw AEM FC bound for ABB on schedule i.e. this year. I really hope I'm wrong and promise to eat humble pie if I am but AFC's track record on delivering on its own expectations are poor as LTHs know only too well. Failure to deliver for ABB would be a very bad outcome.

An excerpt from Bond's statement. I must admit it doesn't read like orders are imminent. Let's just hope they're making good progress on ABB's high density, solid cell.

Would've been good to see a picture of the methanol fuel tower in situ. Now that AFC have proven they can liberate hydrogen from both ammonia and methanol and use it in the power tower they need to get on and commercialise these vital products. As it stands at the moment we're still in R&D mode, which is why the SP didn't really react to today's news. The market only wants sales from now on.

Unfortunately, it's looking increasingly like Budd is indeed a dud! The lack of progress here is shocking considering the supposedly top notch tech on offer. I'm beginning to wonder if the diagnostic capabilities of the genedrive platform in it's different applications, is as good as we think. There's definitely something amiss.

Great news for a Monday morning. A heavy hint from Acciona that power towers are going to be rolled out across all their construction sites. Based on that sales must be imminent and should be large in number. Progress at last. Let's hope it's the start of more news to come e.g. on the high density solid cell. Maybe AFC just might succeed after all! Well done all holders and of course AB and AFC. Things are getting exciting again!

I suspect that Bond will want to get news out during COP27. If so let's hope it's commercial orders for power towers and a positive progress report on the much vaunted (certainly by haggis) solid cell bound for ABB.

With a cheap ceramic membrane and no requirement for platinum it's clear that progress is being made elsewhere to develop fuel cells on a more commercially viable footing. AFC must get a move on to stay in the game.

Also, once flying in China and Asia recovers the SP should respond positively as it will be money in the bank for RR. I hope the market prices this recovery in as it can't be too far off.
