Looks like RR just might get an unexpected boost from China's changing COVID policy. This should confound the dastardly JPM's predictions on RR.

Totally agree Dazpink. RR need to counter JPM's crap to protect shareholders interests. JPM is clearly intent on attacking RR at every opportunity no doubt for ulterior motives.

Bond is clutching at straws here and I believe that this deal is a sign of desperation. I thought we were targeting the construction industry along with EV charging and Data centres! We've heard from Bond ad nauseum about replacing diesel gensets on construction sites but now it's suddenly gin distilling! This guy needs to go whilst AFC is still solvent. ITM recognised the need for an industry connected CEO to take over and AFC must do the same if it's to survive.

We must be in the latter part of the year by now!

It's imperative that RR get SMRs signed off imminently so they can begin commercialising them before the competition can get a foot hold. They mustn't squander their current first mover advantage.

I take your point Git that Bond did well to get the placing away at 60 odd pence thus providing AFC with enough working capital to keep the bandwagon rolling and AFC solvent. I guess the issue now is that unless AFC can deliver a saleable product that provides a revenue stream, said capital will eventually run out and raising more could be difficult if progress to commerciaility is proving elusive as would be investors might be harder to convince a second time that AFC still have a realistic chance of success. Also as you say he's not a scientist but nevertheless as CEO should know what stage technical progress is at before making utterances on expected product delivery. Any potential investor reading his comments on forthcoming multiple order delivery for example could reasonably have been swayed to invest based on those bullish expectations and may now feel justifiably let down.

Flew into Heathrow terminal 5 on a domestic BA flight last night. The flight was about 2 thirds full. All was good and on time but then at Heathrow there was a big problem with the bags in that they didn't show up because there was no staff to get them off the plane! They're being delivered today. Stuff like that doesn't encourage customer loyalty.

TBH Git it's more with AB. Let's be honest developing new tech of this nature is very difficult and requires great expertise which I'm not sure AFC had enough of in house. They belatedly addressed that by bringing in Drs Rendall and Harvey and then we got the power tower. Bond, however strongly implied that AlkaMem was a reality when it clearly wasn't and that orders were imminent and virtually guaranteed, that's what swayed me into reinvesting and putting my concerns about the tech to one side. My logic being, he wouldn't say that if it wasn't true! Well we now know it was BS and yet he still gets paid nearly £900k while us mere shareholders lose our shirts. I feel hood winked by him and that does roil me I must admit! Now maybe all his predictions will come true and he'll be vindicated but I've lost trust in him completely at this point.

Sometimes better the devil you know Bondy! AFC have risen spectacularly before and I think we all harbour a hope that it can again, me included. Whether that will happen or not is the big gamble. In the meantime frustrations abound.

I'm down so much it's difficult to realise the loss Bondy. I've had a bad feeling about AFC for a long time but didn't act on it so I'm paying the price, literally, now I do have a small amount of hope that I may be completely wrong (I'm good at that) so would be even more ****ed off if I sold and missed out if they did announce ABB's 100kw solid cell, having suffered the pain. The signs aren't good though. I mean the company's been going since 2006 and hasn't sold anything. BTW to talk of AFC as an investment given its smoke and mirrors approach is a bit of a stretch Bondy. It's a pure gamble at this stage in my view and as I'm a gambler I've not sold out completely. Maybe the fools are the ones who think otherwise. I do think Bond should be called out regularly though as his management of shareholders' interests has been at best sub par. I'd love to be wrong and will gladly eat humble pie if I am.

And we've got radio silence again! Bond and AFC are nothing if not predictable. They just seem incapable of delivering anything they say they're going to. I'm starting to think they're technology is not as good as we've been led to believe. If it was they'd be selling it! I mean the L cell looks a bit Heath Robinson with it's plastic waste pipe plumbing and bulky foot print so maybe no wonder it's defunct now that EE don't want it around anymore. The power tower does look more professional but is not very powerful so again it's not particularly impressive from a tech point of view. Based on these concerns I even wonder if the IP has much intrinsic value. One thing's for sure, AFC can't continue ad infinitum as an R&D company stringing investors along. The jam tomorrow approach has run it's course.

That article makes for uncomfortable reading as an AFC shareholder. I mean I thought AFC specialised in fuel flex but yet according to the Forbes' piece, they needed pure hydrogen to operate, which is why EE changed to Kaizen so they could use methanol as a hydrogen carrier! They're doing what AFC are supposed to be leaders in! AFC have clearly lost any first mover advantage assuming they ever had it in the first place. Meanwhile Bond gets paid nearly £900k!
